Spore's coming out on May 1st, you can preorder it on Amazon.

I'm so excited!!!

Anyone else going to get it? If you're going to get it, have some awesome creatures planned? Care to give details?

I wouldn't put too much faith in that date. Amazon isn't always accurate when they just want to start selling pre-orders.

Though, I'll definitely be getting it when it comes out. But it depends on whether it comes out on Wii or not with full online. If the Wii version is full-featured, I'll be grabbing that, since the controller would be awesome for the editors. If it doesn't have the online creature-sharing components, then I'll be picking up the Mac version.

I hope the Wii version has full-online features. That'd make the editor super-easy.

It may also make the game more fun, during the creature stage. Moving the creature around with the nunchuk-attachment and using the remote itself to do the various actions available like dancing and biting and dragging.

The Amazon date may be wrong, but it gives me some hope.

Oh sweet, I didn't realize it was coming out for the Wii. If it has online support that'll be awesome.

Gamespot still has the release date as Q2 2008, but maybe Amazon knows something they don't.

YESSS it's coming out on Wii? I am so happy. Now I don't have to wait for a mac version that will probably run pretty slow on my desktop. I've been waiting for this game for ages. I really do hope they take advantage and include all of the online features for the Wii. I don't really see why they wouldn't!

It's supposed to be coming out on all consoles. However, the console versions might come out later. The PC and Mac versions though are coming out at the same time, as of an announcement from Macworld on the 15th of this month.

As for Wii and Online.. a lot of games haven't been getting full online features because Nintendo hasn't released an Harddrive option yet.

I thought that too when I saw that you could pre-order The Captal's Tower by Melanie Rawn... a book which has been 'coming soon' since around my sophomore of high school.

I'm a senior in college now, and still no word on The Captal's Tower.

And it's the third book in a 'trilogy' - where the second book ended on a huge cliffhanger.

I heard that the Cellphase will be able to be played on phones.
