Seem's normal...cept that it starts in pallet town and I've never seen any of the pokemon before. (I stopped watching ages ago of course)

It's just a hack of FireRed or LeafGreen. They changed the sprites used for battle and stuff, but if you look in the menu area, those sprites are still the old pokemon they're based off of.

On another note... anyone know if they ever came out with a DS emu?

yup, I use it to test if I ought to buy certain carts hehe. And it's not that screwed up, though linking is still out of the question, the touch screen isn't fabulous though since nothing beats the actual touch screen compared to dragging a mouse.

I just beat the Elite Four in Pearl not long ago, got the national dex. I want to transfer some Pokemon from Leaf Green but hey. Does anyone know if there is a way to remove HMs from Pokemon in Leaf Green and if so, where.

I still demand a Pokemon game where you can actually wander in the grass and see the Pokemon, chase the down and then battle them out in the open, not in a special battle mode. It's more realistic that way.

Also, I demand to have my pokemon have as many moves as Pikachu from the show does. >_<

Edit: Also, that Pikachu's every other move seems to be a Critical Hit.

Thundershock, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Thunderwave, Volt Tackle, Tackle, Quick Attack, Agility, Iron Tail, Ketchup Eat.. Not to mention various other innovations. A Swellow absorbing a Thunder to make bright yellow electric armor is not out of the question!

I liked the oldschool anime battle sequences, and the more recent ones aren't bad, but I pretty much gave up on watching them anymore.

I just wish there was a console Pokemon RPG that had every single pokemon. That I would play to death. But all they give us are colosseum games, which don't interest me much due to not having time to play the handhelds. And even if I did have time to play the handhelds, you can't get a lot of the pokemon from the original red/blue, which is sad.

I'm hoping they'll release the GB and GBA Pokemon games on the Virtual Console and allow trading to your DS via the Wii. Then I might have to seriously reconsider buying Diamond or Pearl.

But yeah, 3D Pokemon RPG would be frick'n awesome. I'm really hoping that the Pokemon Trainer in Brawl is a sign of what's possible, cause a Real Time Combat version of Pokemon would be a lot of fun. Maybe even a combination, of Turn-Based and Real-Time.

Did any of you guys ever play Quest 64? That was an interesting combination. It was Turn-Based, so you and your opponents took turns attacking, but during your opponent's turn you could move around in a certain area to dodge attacks and stuff. I think that would suit a 3D Pokemon very well, actually.

Beat the elite four in Leaf Green last week on the train ride home.

I always thought that a pokemon MMO would be awesome. You already know how leveling and stuff would work, but imagine having actual people as gym leaders, the Elite Four and vendors (selling stuff like mushrooms from dead paras). There would be a massive multi-continent world and a griefless PK duel system. It could be tons customizable by being able to add silly accessories like ribbons and hats to your pokemon (see smash bros.).
