If someone told me Verithrax was part of the admin team for the game before I'd started reading the forums I'd probably been predisposed against it, but from his posts he seems like he might actually make a pretty good admin.

Not that I'll have a chance to play it anyway, by the time it's released, I won't have any opportunities to play much in the way of games I can't just pick up and play for a few minutes and then put down.

I've just never seen Zalana's player be anything but rude to people who weren't part of her clique. And if that's the way she's going to be as an admin, it's going to be miserable for a vast majority of people.

Dude, Phred took a guess that Zalana was there. I still haven't bothered to contact her. But I really see no reason to try and insult her and make assumptions based on a guess that she is an admin. And honestly if you don't like the people, don't play it. It is pretty simple. Trust me Kunin was not the most liked devel in Lusternia at all, alot of people would say alot worse about him than you are saying about Zalana. And Kunin IS there and an admin there. And people still will be checking out the game.

Frankly, S.A.W. isn't wrong. If you don't do everything that Zalana likes then you're immediately on her black list, causing things such as being banned from the IRC chat.

I think her time is better spent holed up, mysteriously, in a manse with Daevos than being an admin.

Verithrax is Anansi? Well. That makes much more sense now. For as much as I really like Joe, I just don't understand his decisions. I guess I could chalk it up to acts of desperation, after watching what happened with PR.

I dunno, I guess we would have to disagree. I mean people can vouche for me on the amount of times I went and disobeyed her as an Admin. I inducted Aiakon, Ciaran and quite a few others who were skilled (in IRE combat) already, instantly advancing them through the stupid novice wait period which I never agreed with. I wrote a post when Kayde contested Zalana, saying that she should have the right to contest Zalana and trust me, none of these scored brownie points with her at all.

And while I had to pay with IG repercussions, like GDF's and such (hell I remember laughin with Aiakon about how I am gonna get into soooo much trouble for this) things like public beheadings, etc. She never really put me on any type of "black list".

So I guess I just see it from a standpoint where I did things I KNEW would piss her off and still never ended up with her truly pissed at me, which is why I guess I have to agree to disagree with ya Myndie

Frankly, you have no idea what you're talking about. Not surprising, though, few people get past her hardass character and discover the rather nice person playing it.



Or, you know, it's possible he chose good admins. I'll lean towards that one, until proven otherwise.

I've had zero, and I mean ZERO, interactions with her in game. All of my interactions that would lead me to believe she's not a rather nice person have been OOC. Frankly, her character has been nicer to me than her player.

There's a contradiction here somewhere, it seems..?

Well, perhaps the implication was too subtle... Wouldn't it stand to say that the only way I've seen her be nice to me, is by not interacting with me at all?
