* when you only ever talk about Lusty when not on Lusty.

* you panic as you wonder if you remembered to buy those robes you were eyeing.

* anytime you hear debate, you try to think if you have bromides.

EDIT:

* when you use C, C++, Visual Basic, Excel, or Calc Basic to make things like herb trackers, price trackers, and such for the game when not logged on.

* you use complex math and statistics to decide how long a fight would go under different options, and decide if bashing is worth your time.

* you have memorized the stats formula so you can rather accurately guess someones health, mana, and ego based on their level.

heh I do that all the time, as well as cgw now and again.

as well as smile and nod...sure msn had a plugin to let you do emotes

also when you wonder how much of your pay check you can spend on the odd credits now and then

* ...you earn more in the game than you do in real life. Bonus points if it's not gold sovereigns compared with dollars (or whatever your local currency) but the actual conversion of your worth in the game to real currency.

* ...you sign your real e-mails with your character's name (because you write more e-mails about the game than anything else).

* ...you enter any game command on a *NIX system, like using 'ql' instead of 'ls' or 'ih' instead of 'pwd.'

When start to wish someone could INVOKE BLIZZARD so you could miss school or work.

When you start to wish the Divine OUTSIDE of the game could takes some hints from the Divine in Lusternia. (like zapping people, for example!)

I've had so many scrolling txt dreams, it's sick. I've also had real dreams, but the people in them were the names of Lust members. Like Narsrim jumping me and Athana in toys r us. Sick.

You might be a Lusternia addict if you find yourself trying to convince someone of something and tell them the same three phrases over and over, and are surprised when you get nowhere.


You explain to the T.A. that your computer was down and could therefore not do your homework.

I got sick of saying "my characters", so I was sitting around talking about "my son" and "my wife" etc

You ever had to tell a credit card company "Yes, I did make all those charges, it's for a game, I buy imaginary currency, and sell it for different imaginary currency.. loads of fun"

erm.. yeah

Tell me about it. My first credit purchase on Lusty and my credit card calls me, telling me, "Ms. Ko'Pan, your credit card was charged for XXXX. Did you authorize this amount? You selected Theft Protection, so we're just calling to make sure you did authorize this."

Yeah, I've done that. And one time I must have conflated my mental systems for Lusternia and the shell, because I found myself typing "man spiritsingers" to see who had won the election...

* when you are laying down to sleep and you say 'oh I forgot to get credits', before getting out of bed, turning on the comp, waiting to load, log on for the 10 seconds to get credits and leave again.

* when you wonder which flavour of fish merian might taste like.

* when you picture a taurian anytime you order a steak.

* when you learn more about real life from Lusternia than you do from real life!
