So, what if there was some sort of artifact robe/hood that hid your name for most actions? Lemme show you...

Instead of "Shurimaru is here," if I had this robe/hood, I could instead be seen as "A mysterious human stands here. (maybe make this customizable, such as instead of 'mysterious' it could be 'a tall human stands here?' Hey, maybe even cloak your race.)"
This goes on and on for most non-combat actions, i.e. "A mysterious human greets you with a sincere smile,"
"A mysterious human leaves to the west,"
"A mysterious human says, 'You don't see me.'"

For combat, however, things would be the same.
"Shurimaru beats you to death with his chain."
"Shurimaru takes a sip from an opal vial."

This is just something I've thought of...let the comments begin.

We already have this thing. It's called a marauder's mask and costs like 800cr or so.

It's actually somewhat upgraded from your idea. All actions (including sips afaik) are masked, and it doesn't fall off until 2s after an aggressive action (it will soon start falling off during debating too).
