This is a Mag-based family, right? Some time ago, I tried to woo someone that was apart of that fam. I can't even recall their name now or if it was even with my current character.

heh. though the only thing that has really changed is the "the great house of" being added to any reference to the family.

can we please have some ideas for how to make great houses something more than they are now?

Make them more org-like?

Patrons, discounted manses, special powers... something of the sort?

I was thinking the ability to purchase a house on prime. Equivalent of a guild hall perhaps. Could be made inside org territory with permission from the appropriate council.

For some reason the idea of some essence-like family stat maybe... glory, favor, etc seems nice. It might build up from the actions of family members(favours(halved if it's a family member doing the favouring), winning an election, offering the heads of slain to a special shrine for the family, admin could award it for other reasons, etc)

Spending it could afford the family upgrades to the home, special mobs, things the family might request.

That's one idea, I guess.
