The system I used always had a line saying:

SHIELD IN 2 SECONDS SHIELD IN 2 SECONDS

And it seemed to work if I actually shielded. Maybe it was because the aggressor wasn't trying to void me but I don't know. Also can't you leave the room on Inqui? I always do or I try to gust them out of the room.

Honestly it wasnt the Inquisition that killed me or really even set me back. It was the running out of health potion that got me killed.

I just tested.. this doesnt even seem to work. it resets the timer and the effect actually seems to take a longer time coming than if i jsut sung the stanza once and waited for it..

Edit: Nope, no effect on timer.. refraining will just prolong the music.. but the effects seems to trigger at a constant time.. might be there is no way to trigger hunger faster..

How did I avoid a mugwump Inquisition Bianca? I avoided it multiple times, outside of a demesne on spars. It seems you are incapable of explaining how other people are able to do it, but you are unable. Plenty have avoided Inquisition from mugwumps, but since you are incapable of doing it makes it magically impossible?

Anyhow, no where have I stated that I know everything about combat. What I will state is that I am willing to actually learn from mistakes and try to do better. You seem to have the mindset that if you fail at it a few times, it is time to give up and label it impossible. Oh, and just so you know, I never said shield was the way to avoid it. Others have stated that, and have used it effectively. What I have pointed out that there are ways to avoid it, and those with acrobatics and demesnes have an even easier time of avoiding it outside of perhaps ghost users and people with sacraments.

Oh, and explain to me how you are helping by telling him it is impossible to avoid Inquisition; that the only solution is the nerf it?

Like I said, Shield = ineffective.

Shielding on heretic is not close enough. For one thing, the light pops up twice, giving the sacraments user the chance to move on to Infidel. Really, you can't brand the person an Infidel on the first go, because you will not recover enough power to Inquisition after Infidel. Second, he did not even shield in an attempt to avoid the actual Inquisition, so how even in the loosest fashion can you even state that shielding is ineffective? To even be considered using shielding to avoid the Inquisition, you have to actually have had timed it after Infidel was placed on you and then shielded right before the person can bring it down upon you.

Anyhow, I will leave it alone. Just based on this post here, I see that you do not even have a clue about what you are talking about, and are just BSing your responses.

Narsrim was not using infidel here, that was infidel ticking, and would have ticked even if he was still shielded.

Ildaudid has some foundation, it isnt all about how fast you shield, its when you shield, you shield right at the time that would close the window and hope you arent hindered in some fashion when you need to shield, timing is risky.

Dont set up songs in combat as has been said. Dont bother trying to refrain a song over and over. Dont bother with heavy room effects, perfectfifth is fine if you can make use of it.

I wouldn't recommend using timed shields. Heretic/Infidel have been known to every so often produce random, invisible, possibly buggy (hard to tell because of the way the AB files are written) glows outside of the normal glow times.

I've conducte a test with Nezha, and found that the problem displayed in that post is still there. It is still possible to do if the sacraments users is working in tandem with others or is able to refresh his/her power. I've bugged it, and also mentioned it on the envoy channel.
