For those of you who are curious and wondering what the effect will be from these the current effects up are

+3 to random stat for elfen
10 DMP increase in magic damage to aquamancers
+2 int to merians
+2 str to merian
Stronger Celestian guards
decreased damage to paladins
+2 con to aslaran
Aura of vengeance for Serenguard
increased endurance and endurance regen for elfen

A mage and guardian specced merian:
11 (2 weighted) str, 10 dex, 10 con, 20 int (2 weighted), and 15 cha

Yes merian really already do have native 18 int as mages/guardians, insane isnt it?

A warrior specced merian:
18 str (2 weighted), 14 dex, -15- con, 15 int (2 weighted), and 11 cha.

Both of those sets are before any sort of buffs. Merian has always been on of the most powerful to spec, they now have lichdom with no drawbacks, archlich merian ftw?

Most of the rest is rather petty, +2 con to aslaran is nice. However nothing has quite the same impact upping damage and wounds does.

Go head and throw round thoughts, etc.

I'm missing the "archlich merian." Where is that coming from, exactly?

I assume he is talking about the stats. Though, archlich does not just grant a set of stats.


I have noticed that it does seem like most of the blessing worth working towards have been acquired.

He seems to think the relevant part of lich is the stat buff.

Is the stats the best part of lich? Not if you die alot. A normal lich gets -1 in the morning, only reason I said archlich.

And yep the most useful blessings are taken, are you suprised?

Not sure what you mean 'buff first', I havent even been around really. I imagine it would be easy to do a midnight takeover, but really, why? Burn a bunch of essence (yay for its bashing though) to take something that will have someone come and challenge for it? Celenwilde again? No thanks, I will stay my rather contemplative, ever pondering self and just point out the flaws that will come when all of them are up to crown.

Still oh so wrong you can buff ripple and flux (thogh no one is going for it) after we were talking about changing or removing it.

...so you won't participate in the system. You don't really have first hand knowledge of it. You haven't been making suggestions on how to tweak it. What are you saying? That the demigods/ascendants who have burned a bunch of essence and spent the time to do this are...unfair? I guess I'm missing the point. This seems a thread to try to spark an outcry of some sorts. And Celest does not have stronger guards. You're reading domoth status wrong.

Irregardless of your intent, it is true that having all this stuff focused on one or two races was likely not the idea. However, given that it benefits ALL races and the last thing you want to do is benefit your enemies when you get the sceptre you bless whatever race is "native" to your organization that few other people are likely to have. In another thread there were suggestions made that the race blessing only effect those in your org. Which could be a good solution to avoid these super races.

I know Domoths are a demigod and ascendent part of the game, but would it be possible for non-demigods to see the state of them at least with DOMOTH STATUS? So we don't need to bother demigods for this kind of information or maybe a skill in discernment for it? I think if Celest and Serenwilde worked for their blessings in Domoth they deserve them though, demi isn't easy to get even if Merians are pretty strong right now. Yay for Aslarans though!
