The two facepaints are 'level x balances', afaik.

Gregori: A monk envoy has contacted you, at least three times only to be blatantly ignored. So if you want to work with me, then feel free to contact me.

Looking through my messages (which I never delete any of so I wouldn't have deleted yours. Yay for message lag!) since my return both here and in game I see none from any monk envoy. If you mean you sent me tells, well then any number of reasons for my not responding could have been possible. Namely I didn't see the tell. Do not assume that no response = ignored.

Try sending a message.

Or, in other words: rather than change how Faelings work, why not change how Faelings work FOR the class? Why the hell would you want to change the overall race when the problem isn't the race, but how the class modifies the potential of the race (or vice versus, bad example really)? No, I'm not saying to fix the class either.. So DO NOT GO THERE! I'm saying that the race should have specific potential for an ability not defined by racial attributes but instead defined by the fact they are the race they are.

To simplify for you. Balance and eq boosts cant really be touched right now. Lvl 2 is a set standard, you cannot make that lvl 2 not work on certain things generally. This is something I was notified of when I tried to make a skill ignore eq/bal bonuses.

I agree though it might be interesting for a race to have a kata advantage at a cost (non specced faelings hit fast but arent all that strong).

@Xenthos: Every type of knight and race combo is balanced before Demigod. The stat boosts kind of push it over the line though.
