Heres a combination of ideas for different people and guilds. If you comment please put a why. I dont like X. Because Y. Or I like A because it sounds fun. Sounding fun is a good enough answer, since that goes more to RP which is always good happy.gif.

General changes:
-Bring Highmagic to have some use, I would take lowmagic in a heartbeat... serpent >>> highmagic.
-Give Highmagic another trade skill. It has enchanting while lowmagic has poisons, herbs, and alchemy.
-Change flux to do minor damage and prone instead of its current effect.
-Add a way for titans/demigods/ascendants to change their size all at once instead of having to change 1 size at a time such as CHANGESIZE with a longer balance (20 seconds, non forcable?)
-Make sensitivity given by hexes and investing not strip earwort first, it largely makes the affliction useless.
-Create a way for demigods to either ascend, follow a fate, or something similar to create some variation and give a new goal to aim for. (that doesnt require 1 million power)
-Increase the type of pets available, and allow them some minor damage attacks or effects (mana drain for something telepathic, damage for normal things, bleeding for things that slash).
-Add some confict quests sad.gif that both satisfy having an effect on an enemy org but also doesnt cripple, no sands/spectres is more crippling than say making them worth less power) and adding a quest to enable them again (with time limits on how often quest can be done).
-Fix up riding sad.gif
-Allow a way for a person to break a breakable demesne room with a 10 second delay, that works under shield. (This way you can break but a mage will still be able to outpace you).

New skills:
-Mining (as has been suggested before)
Trade skill to mine for ores/gems comms. Could take awhile to mine, faster with arty pick. Tunnel could collapse if you arent careful.

-Summoning
Variety of skills based on summoning things (they dont stay with you generally), that can range from travel, to calling an attacking tracking animal (tracking as in follows, not as in hound), to briefly calling a dragon to burn the room or a target. Tertiary skill.

-Demonology/Holiness
Skills focused on being more like the cosmic ents than using them. Damage attacks (torture, slashes), afflicting (tail, stuns, fast skills based on pact powers), utility (flight still, defense buffs, self curing, calling other demon/angelkind to you), and skills to lead to conditions (agony, overwhelm, enlighten, corrupt). Would be a primary, to replace using ents. Note: because you would no longer have a demon to invest you would not be attempting aeon locks.

-Gambling
Common skill, allowing the use of games of chance and skill. Mainly done for gold, only works on other players. Fun skill.

-MagicCraft
Highmagic Tradeskill. Create items using elaborate patterns and runes to give new effects. Such as telescopes to allow people to see at range, always seeing hidden people. Normal telescopes could see rooms away for a 1s balance loss. A monocle to see hidden people in the room (for those without thirdeye, or who dont want to require thirdeye). Create chimes that might pacify a non aggro denizen. Etc.

Envoy Idea, submitting:

There would be two pages for everyone. Guild and common. Common would cover non guild unique ideas and viewable by anyone.

ENVOYSUBMIT
*Would place an envoy idea on the general page (new item to be added).

GUILDSUBMIT
*Places the idea on a guild envoy page. Anyone from the guild can read this page. Submitter is anonymous.

ENVOYREPLY <#>
*Sends your reply to the poster of an idea.

ENVOYREMOVE <#>
*Remove an idea you submitted. Envoys could remove any idea from their guilds page but would require a reason.

ENVOYSHOW
*Allows everyone to see the envoy page. Or their guild page. (Envoy pages reset every 28 RL days).

This would allow anyone to submit an idea anonymously to the general public or the guild. This would show ideas submitted, not what is on the report. Though people could of course tell the envoy if they support it. Perhaps another command to vote for it so envoys can see what people want changed, though this is abusable as people can just have their friends pitch in.

No no no.

There's no way breaking a mage's demesne would ever cost enough to be balanced. That is asking for a skill that negates an entire skillset. It's like mages asking for a skill to shatter a warrior's weapons.




And I agree with fix Viscanti. Please. Those of us who are Viscanti for RP purposes are at a major disadvantage.

I think it would be fine to just let them not receive the message when it strips truehearing. They'll still be able to track deafness on the prompt so it's still rather "meh", but better.

Either that, or when it strips the defence, have it give a legitimate deafness affliction so it at least takes them the length of herb balance to put back up.

Fix warriors. A shieldbreaker ability for Axelords wouldn't go amiss. And I agree, fix Riding.

New stuff is always good, but before we introduce anymore OMGAWESOME stuff, could we please try to balance out the current stuff? Pwetty pwease sad.gif

OMG I am not allowed to have a topic without buffs!

Although Highmagic being made useful covers Nihilists.. kinda.. as would anew trade skill. Woudlnt mind the size change, sensitivity having a use would be nice.

Summoning would be fun happy.gif

Demonology HA! that is a pseudo direct buff.. it would actually change combat more than buff us, we cant aeon lock you, so we try to work around that.

And envoys thoughts were to try to help fix things so people can submit more easily :/

P.S. I am taking (via e-mail if that works, or PM) ideas for changes and other choices for Nihilists primary/skills. That is to say I will entertain a whole new primary, though that is a rare thing indeed. But I of course entertain new or changes to skills.

REMEMBER: Theres a chance I will submit something even if it isnt for my guild, and I usually try to move thins with some priority to them to other Envoys.

I meant in that it would actually be usable for us. I can invest it but sensitivity strips truehearing if you have it, if it strips truehearing you do NOT get the affliction. I would need to double invest or have it hit twice without you using earwort again for it to actually hit. Same for hexes using it.

Not to mention that's also like saying you should nerf succumb due to manabarbs.

Edit: Even when double invested on a demon, it wouldn't be hard at all for a person to code in deafness being stripped to assume sensitivity was given on the second attack. Still worthless.

Theres quite a few things far more deadly than that.. since sensitivity wont stop them eating earwort, and why strip earwort with a hex over blanknoting them and using afflicts under that?
