Nearby shadows swirl restlessly around those gathered in anticipation.
Xenthos gives the corpse of Zincite to Seer Rancoura, of the Inscrutable Gaze.
Spirit Warden Xenthos An'Ryshe, the Ebon Strategist says, "If you find yourself
with a need."
Seer Rancoura, of the Inscrutable Gaze says, "Excellent, an offering."
The ghost of a smile passes fleetingly across Rancoura's lips.
Seer Rancoura, of the Inscrutable Gaze says, "I do not think we will need one
for this, anyhow."
Rancoura links hands with Luxi, Bael, Urazial, Hyrtakos, Dylara, and Ilyrel,
forming a circle.
Seer Rancoura, of the Inscrutable Gaze steps into the centre of the circle,
holding the Glass.
Seer Rancoura, of the Inscrutable Gaze raises the Glass above her head.
Seer Rancoura, of the Inscrutable Gaze says, "Mother Night, lend us Your power,
and let us banish these accursed sun-fae from this plane! Let them return to
whence they came, and let Sun always hide from Your might!"
Seer Rancoura, of the Inscrutable Gaze says, "Coven, release your Shadows."
Dipping her hand into a shadow cauldron, Ilyrel pulls out a long shadow and
releases it into the air. The room darkens with the churning darkness.
Seer Rancoura, of the Inscrutable Gaze takes a shadow and with gesturing
movements, guides it to the Glass.
Ashai throws his arms wide and calls out to the Spirit of Night. Shadows begin
to gather before him, coalescing into a shadow cauldron.
Rancoura nods her head.
Seer Ashai d'Murani drags a long shadow from his cauldron and flings it into the
air.
Seer Rancoura, of the Inscrutable Gaze gathers more shadows and guides them to
the Glass, where they are absorbed.
Wyrden Snare Dylara Nimaet, Ward of the Rose draws a shadow from her cauldron
and guides it out into the air.
Flames begin to erupt from the Glass as the shapes of fae appear within,
struggling to break free of their prison.
The roaring inferno engulfs you as you fight to find a way out.
Ilyrel, Disciple of Binding draws a shadow from her cauldron and guides it out
into the air.
Seer Rancoura, of the Inscrutable Gaze exclaims, "More!"
The sound of a distant scream echoes between the trees, only to be suddenly cut
short.
Ashai raises his hands and clouds form and darken overhead, releasing a heavy
rain that drenches the area.
Ilyrel, Disciple of Binding draws a shadow from her cauldron and guides it out
into the air.
Fly Urazial Inseira, Ward of the Wyrd blows into the mouth of his cauldron and a
billowing plume of shadows emerge.
Seer Rancoura, of the Inscrutable Gaze guides more shadows to the Glass.
Ilyrel, Disciple of Binding draws a shadow from her cauldron and guides it out
into the air.
Great waves of flame ignite from the glass, engulfing those gathered and lashing
out at the shadows.
Bael raises his hands and clouds form and darken overhead, releasing a heavy
rain that drenches the area.
Rancoura winces in pain.
Seer Rancoura, of the Inscrutable Gaze exclaims, "More!"
Ilyrel, Disciple of Binding draws a shadow from her cauldron and guides it out
into the air.
The Night sky above shudders as Mother Night howls in pain.
Seer Rancoura, of the Inscrutable Gaze grabs at the gathering shadows and
directs them to the glass.
Ilyrel, Disciple of Binding plunges her hands into the writhing darkness of her
cauldron and draws the shadows forth.
Seer Rancoura, of the Inscrutable Gaze exclaims, "Mother Night, take these
Shadows, smother their fires!"
The shadows struggle to smother the glass as more and more flames break free,
flying through the air.
Seer Rancoura, of the Inscrutable Gaze lowers the mirror, her arms shuddering
with the effort of holding it.
Ilyrel, Disciple of Binding draws a shadow from her cauldron and guides it out
into the air.
Ilyrel, Disciple of Binding draws a shadow from her cauldron and guides it out
into the air.
Rancoura hugs herself, causing shadows to fly out from her grip and swathe her
like a clinging cloak.
Wyrden Snare Dylara Nimaet, Ward of the Rose draws another shadow from her
cauldron, guiding it towards Rancoura.
Shadows swarm into the area, wrapping around the Glass of the Sublime Eidolon.
Brilliant flames erupt from the mirror, but the shadows quickly wrap around
them. As the flames try to erupt even further, the shadows descend upon the
mirror in greater number.
Seer Ashai d'Murani further coaxes long shades from the depths of his cauldron,
showering the location.
Rancoura nods her head emphatically.
With a final scream, the flames erupt and shoot high above into the sky.
An explosion rocks the Basin of Life as a great ball of flame shoots up from the
Glomdoring Forest. The flaming orb arches across the night sky, golden flames
trailing far behind it. Another explosion resounds over the land as it explodes,
showering the Basin with dancing sparks of brilliant light.
Seer Rancoura, of the Inscrutable Gaze collapes onto the ground, the mirror on
her lap.
Dylara gives Rancoura a concerned look.
Rancoura nods her head.
Fatigue lacing her voice, Seer Rancoura, of the Inscrutable Gaze says, "It is
done. The mirror is gone."
Mother Night arrives near the Master Ravenwood, her form wavering and burnt.
Even in a bodily form, the figure of Mother Night still remains somewhat
ephemeral. Dark black hair cascades down her back, several strands clinging to
her gaunt cheeks. Her skin is pale and dull, stretched firmly across a thin
frame. Her two eyes are orbs of pitch black that fall upon all she sees with a
piercing gaze. Her entire figure is both awe-inspiring and terrifying, radiating
a palpable malevolence.
You bow respectfully to Mother Night.
Ashai bows respectfully to Mother Night.
Urazial bows respectfully to Mother Night.
Dylara curtseys respectfully before Mother Night.
Izekeal kneels before Mother Night, swearing his allegiance to her.
Ilyrel curtseys respectfully before Mother Night.
Silferras curtseys respectfully before Mother Night.
Ryleth bows respectfully to Mother Night.
Camoroz bows respectfully to Mother Night.
Halse bows respectfully to Mother Night.
Rancoura humbly drops one knee to the ground before Mother Night, genuflecting
reverently in her presence.
Bael bows respectfully to Mother Night.
Luxi curtseys respectfully before Mother Night.
Jayden bows respectfully to Mother Night.
Kundu bows respectfully to Mother Night.
Mother Night turns her head as if hearing a far off noise before rushing off
into the distance.
The Night sky shudders as Mother Night descends upon Avechna's Peak.
Beneath glimmering veins of amethyst.
Billowing like a cloth in a gentle breeze, a veil of shadows covers a wall of
the cavern here.
You see exits leading northeast, east, and through a delicate veil of shadows.
You reach out and gently brush your hand against a delicate veil of shadows.
Your senses suddenly dull as you feel yourself pulled into the entrancing
darkness. As your senses return, you find yourself beneath a beautiful night
sky.
The Fulcrux of Nocht.
An rippling image of a beautiful night sky has been magically wrapped around the
fulcrux here. A complex series of stones orbit around a stygian orb here.
Towering over the area, the frighteningly beautiful form of Mother Night has
coalesced here. Nocht, the Silent stands here, obscured behind a smoky veil of
shadows.
You see a single exit leading through an image of the night sky.
You bow respectfully to Nocht.
Nocht blinks.
You say to Nocht, "Shall I leave?"
The Fulcrux of Nocht.
The image of a beautiful nighttime sky has been stretched across the fulcrux.
Dim stars struggle futilely to compete with the terrifying beauty of Mother
Night. The ethereal image wavers on occasion, the sky rippling like water in a
pond. A lonely hill covered in tall grass leads up to a single shrine. Behind
the shrine stands a large blackthorn tree. The tree is taller than most of its
kind, extending upwards rather than outwards. Delicate blossoms shower down from
its branches, creating a flurry of white petals and filling the air with the
pungent scent of wyrden foliage. An rippling image of a beautiful night sky has
been magically wrapped around the fulcrux here. A complex series of stones orbit
around a stygian orb here. Towering over the area, the frighteningly beautiful
form of Mother Night has coalesced here. Nocht, the Silent stands here, obscured
behind a smoky veil of shadows.
You see a single exit leading through an image of the night sky.
(Glomdoring): You say, "Mother Night resides in Nocht's fulcrux."
The image of the night sky ripples as the body of Dylara suddenly emerges from
its grasp.
Nocht, the Silent says, "No."
Izekeal says, "Should we Wyrd?"
You nod your head at Nocht.
Nocht raises an eyebrow questioningly.
Jayden bows respectfully to Nocht.
Silferras performs a graceful curtsey.
You say to Nocht, "Thank you."
Ryleth blinks.
Ashai bows respectfully to Nocht.
Ryleth Peulus, The Wyrden Masquerader steps forward into an elegant bow.
Nocht, the Silent says, "What have you done to my Night?"
Dylara curtseys respectfully before Nocht.
You say to Nocht, "Manifestations of the Sun began to attack her recently."
Nocht, the Silent holds Mother Night close to Him, attempting to heal the burns
that cover her.
You say to Nocht, "We managed to rid the manifestations, the Fae, but..."
Sighing softly as he nods at Night, you say, "We were not able to heal the
wounds."
Glaring about Himself, Nocht, the Silent says, "And just who are all of you?"
Seer Rancoura, of the Inscrutable Gaze says, "We are the members of the Commune
of Glomdoring, where Mother Night's Coven resides."
The boughs of the large blackthorn moan loudly as they shake, sending a new
shower of petals cascading across the fulcrux.
Ryleth peers at Sthai unscrupulously.
Sthai d'Murani, Aois-Dana folds her hands within her sleeves.
Ryleth Peulus, The Wyrden Masquerader says, "Well perhaps most of us are that
is."
Nocht, the Silent draws Mother Night closer to Himself as He looks at those
gathered.
Sthai shudders uncontrollably and her eyes flare with a crimson luminescence.
Sthai d'Murani, Aois-Dana steps forwards, bowing.
Respectfully, Sthai d'Murani, Aois-Dana says, "Greetings, Nocht, Lord of the
Night, from my Lord, He of the Red Masque."
Nocht raises an eyebrow questioningly.
Silferras's ears perk up with a sudden interest.
Silferras performs a graceful curtsey.
Nocht, the Silent says, "Your lord?"
Sthai d'Murani, Aois-Dana says, "He bids You welcome and Hail into the First
World."
Sthai d'Murani, Aois-Dana says to Nocht, "Lord Fain, milord."
6538h, 2948m, 4914e, 10p, 23185en, 19410w elrxk-
Nocht, the Silent stiffens as His face takes on a grim look.
Nocht, the Silent says, "You all have not answered me."
Sthai d'Murani, Aois-Dana says, "His sanctuary is yours, if You should wish it."
Nocht, the Silent says, "What are you?"
Nocht, the Silent says to Sthai, "I do not."
Softly, Sthai d'Murani, Aois-Dana says, "I am but a messenger."
Ilyrel, Disciple of Binding says, "We are shards of your fellow Elders..."
Wyrden Snare Dylara Nimaet, Ward of the Rose says, "Mortals, Shards of Your
Cousins."
Sthai d'Murani, Aois-Dana says to Nocht, "Indeed."
Spirit Warden Xenthos An'Ryshe, the Ebon Strategist says, "Most of us are
mortals, shards of the Divine."
Nocht, the Silent says, "Shards?"
Sthai d'Murani, Aois-Dana folds her hands within her sleeves.
You look thoughtful and say to Nocht, "Splinters, pieces of the greater
whole..."
Dylara nods her head emphatically.
Ilyrel, Disciple of Binding says to Nocht, "Do you remember Elfenhoala the
Golden?"
Ilyrel lowers the hood on dark robes of leather and silk.
Sthai d'Murani, Aois-Dana's nose wrinkles faintly at the name of the Goddess.
Nocht, the Silent says, "I see..."
Nocht, the Silent says to Sthai, "A shard of Fain?"
Dylara stares implacably at Anisu.
Urazial gives Laysus the once-over, eyeing him suspiciously.
High Priest Laysus L'Eternae, Bearer of the Silver Chalice says to Anisu, "Why
do they all glare at me but none at you?"
Wyrden Snare Dylara Nimaet, Ward of the Rose says, "Fain is still whole."
Sthai d'Murani, Aois-Dana says, "Nay. Humans are more... curiously formed, My
Lord."
Druidess Anisu Talnara, The Confused One says, "Sorry to intrude Lord, we grew
curious."
Laysus bows respectfully to Nocht.
Spirit Warden Xenthos An'Ryshe, the Ebon Strategist says, "No. Lord Fain has not
splintered-- she is a follower of His. He resides within the city of Magnagora."
Fly Urazial Inseira, Ward of the Wyrd asks, "Why do those who seek to despoil
Mother Night come to this sacred place?"
Whispering harshly, Nocht, the Silent says, "Who dares to harm Mother Night?"
High Priest Laysus L'Eternae, Bearer of the Silver Chalice says to Urazial, "We
seek to purify or restore her to her rest, not harm."
Seer Ashai d'Murani says to Nocht, "This Laysus, and Anisu."
Wyrden Snare Dylara Nimaet, Ward of the Rose says, "They would."
Spirit Warden Xenthos An'Ryshe, the Ebon Strategist says, "Those of the
Serenwilde have devoted their lives to such."
Blandly, Sthai d'Murani, Aois-Dana says, "Such is true."
Xenthos ponders Laysus thoughtfully, looking him up and down.
Spirit Warden Xenthos An'Ryshe, the Ebon Strategist says to Laysus, "I remember
you entering Ethereal Glomdoring, slaying the fae embraced by Mother Night. That
is hardly "purifying.""
High Priest Laysus L'Eternae, Bearer of the Silver Chalice says, "The followers
of Mother Moon are aware that Mother Moon cannot shine without Mother Night's
darkness. We merely see her wyrden, tainted form as a travesty and think she
should be restored to her former glory, or put to rest until such can happen."
High Priest Laysus L'Eternae, Bearer of the Silver Chalice says to Xenthos, "The
well of souls was used to purify them."
High Priest Laysus L'Eternae, Bearer of the Silver Chalice says, "At the time,
it was our only method of doing so."
Nocht, the Silent says, "There is nothing wrong with the Night.."
The image of the night sky grows terrifyingly dark as an icy breeze cuts across
the lonely hill, spiralling patterns dancing across the tall grass
High Priest Laysus L'Eternae, Bearer of the Silver Chalice says, "When wise
Albion provided better means, that one became prohibited."
Nocht, the Silent says, "Beyond how the Sun has harmed her."
Flatly, Sthai d'Murani, Aois-Dana says, "How curious. The Serenwilde use
purification in the same context as Celest to Magnagora - elimination, complete
annihalation."
High Priest Laysus L'Eternae, Bearer of the Silver Chalice says to Sthai, "No we
do not."
Sthai d'Murani, Aois-Dana smiles thinly.
High Priest Laysus L'Eternae, Bearer of the Silver Chalice says, "As I have
already said, Moon cannot shine without the Night."
Sthai d'Murani, Aois-Dana says, "Laid to rest? A convenient term for slaying
them, as you cannot cure what is not ill."
Jayden, the Savage Nymph says, "The words of a senile old hag are hardly...
wise."
Fly Urazial Inseira, Ward of the Wyrd says, "Indeed, Serens have been
"purifying" the Night bubble not many days ago."
You say to Nocht, "And Sun shall harm her no more. At least, not if our rituals
have worked."
Izekeal says, "I believe we should all silence and listen to the Elder."
Nocht, the Silent says, "A ritual?"
Raising His voice, Nocht, the Silent says, "You things speak too much and too
loudly."
Ilyrel, Disciple of Binding says, "I believe Seer Rancoura should explain the
ritual."
A wry smile spreads across Xenthos's face.
You nod your head at Rancoura.
Sthai d'Murani, Aois-Dana bows, falling silent.
Nocht, the Silent says, "What ritual?"
High Priest Laysus L'Eternae, Bearer of the Silver Chalice says to Nocht,
"Merely to rebutt the slander directed at myself and my kind, m'Lord."
Seer Rancoura, of the Inscrutable Gaze says, "We performed a ritual, my Lord, to
smother the sun-fae with shadows."
Seer Rancoura, of the Inscrutable Gaze says, "It seems to have worked - they
have disappeared, along with the Glass in which they were contained."
Seer Rancoura, of the Inscrutable Gaze says, "They should not return to hurt
Night again."
Dipping her hand into a shadow cauldron, Luxi pulls out a long shadow and
releases it into the air. The room darkens with the churning darkness.
The Queen's Own Torturer, Shikha d'Murani, Blade of the Ouroboros says to Nocht,
"The Legion welcomes your return, Sir."
Nocht, the Silent says, "First a lord and now a legion?"
The ghost of a smile passes fleetingly across Sthai's lips.
Nocht, the Silent frowns and says, "What is this legion?"
Wyrden Snare Dylara Nimaet, Ward of the Rose says, "Morgfyre."
The Queen's Own Torturer, Shikha d'Murani, Blade of the Ouroboros says, "A Lord
and The Legion in one, Morgfyre, Sir."
Spirit Warden Xenthos An'Ryshe, the Ebon Strategist says, "Now she refers to
Lord Morgfyre, also of Magnagora."
Mother Night leans closely towards Nocht, the Silent, whispering into His ear.
You tilt your head and listen intently.
Nocht, the Silent says, "I see..."
You say to Nocht, "Will... will Mother be alright?"
Rika Talnara, Lady Flame looks skeptical and says, "What is Tainted is never
'alright'..."
Nocht, the Silent gently brushes a hand through Mother Night's shadowy hair.
Nocht, the Silent says, "She will be fine..."
Rancoura stares coldly at Rika.
You smile softly.
Nocht narrows His eyes at Rika in an unnerving manner.
Nocht, the Silent says, "Tainted?"
Rika nods her head at Nocht.
Quietly, Sthai d'Murani, Aois-Dana says, "Such they have always claimed."
Wyrden Snare Dylara Nimaet, Ward of the Rose frowns and says, "Glomdoring is not
Tainted."
High Priest Laysus L'Eternae, Bearer of the Silver Chalice says, "The wyrd is
merely the combination of taint and nature."
Izekeal says, "Apparently Rika believes that the essence of Kethuru resides
within Mother Night."
Nocht, the Silent says, "Do you claim the Night is flawed in some way..?"
Rika Talnara, Lady Flame says to Sthai, "Funny. I recall Magnagora always
agreeing with us that Glomdoring is Tainted."
Ryleth Peulus, The Wyrden Masquerader says, "My Lord she also is from the
Serenwilde."
Blandly, Sthai d'Murani, Aois-Dana says, "I do not claim such."
Rika Talnara, Lady Flame says to Nocht, "I am sure when You awoke Mother Night,
she was, like Mother Moon, a flawless Great Spirit."
Izekeal says, "I think we all need to know the Wilde's definition of Taint."
You peer about yourself unscrupulously.
Spirit Warden Xenthos An'Ryshe, the Ebon Strategist smiles and says, "And so She
remains."
(Glomdoring): You say, "We already know the Serenwilders to be stubborn
regarding their views on Night."
Mother Night quickly leans in and whispers to Nocht once more.
Nocht nods His head at Mother Night.
(Glomdoring): You say, "Arguing with them will get you nowhere."
Rika Talnara, Lady Flame says to Nocht, "However, since the time of the Elder
Wars and even the Vernal Wars, mortality has created flaws into many things."
Ser Shuyin says, "I think You all are equally as long-winded as the worst of
Elders. If you are here to debate, don't waste our time. What I want to know is
that where Lord Nocht's place in the Basin will be."
High Priest Laysus L'Eternae, Bearer of the Silver Chalice says, "The taint is
the touch of Kethuru, and Lady Viravain was touched by Kethuru, and through her
the Wyrd was too."
You reach out to Mother Night and feel her cold breath surround you.
You feel yourself drawn to Mother Night's bosom.
Rancoura follows you ether.
Beside a stone ring.
Floating eerily within the darkness rises the Shadow Glass, its reflective
surface glistening with a stygian shade. A hemlock sapling clings tenaciously to
the ground here. The charred remains of Ikrae, the Shadow Priestess lie here.
Spirit Warden Xenthos An'Ryshe, the Ebon Strategist is here. He wields a
spider-hilted rapier in each hand. Nocht, the Silent stands here, obscured
behind a smoky veil of shadows.
You see exits leading north, northeast, east, southeast, south, southwest, west,
and northwest.
Spirit Warden Xenthos An'Ryshe, the Ebon Strategist says, "She did. She had come
up with a plan to protect the Avatars of Mother Night, and then was struck down
by flame and three of the Sun-Fae."
Nocht creases His brow in a frown.
Spirit Warden Xenthos An'Ryshe, the Ebon Strategist says, "Though we fought
them, she was dead before they were."
Nocht, the Silent holds a hand over the charred corpse, and it immediately
dissolves into a pool of shadows.
Nocht, the Silent gestures once more as a swirl of shadows congeal into the form
of Ikrae, the Shadow Priestess.
Rancoura curtseys respectfully before Ikrae, the Shadow Priestess.
You smile softly.
Seer Rancoura, of the Inscrutable Gaze says, "It is good to see you back,
Priestess."
Ikrae, the Shadow Priestess gasps in surprise before falling to the ground.
Ikrae, the Shadow Priestess says, "Thank you, Lord."
Nocht, the Silent says, "You are the ones that worship Night?"
Rancoura nods her head affirmatively.
Ilyrel nods her head emphatically.
Nocht, the Silent says, "And how is it that you are shards of the divine?"
You ponder for a moment and say "Hrm..."
You say to Nocht, "Many of your cousins who were not lost to the Soulless or the
void decided to splinter into lesser beings."
You say to Nocht, "How such was done is not known by us."
Nocht creases His brow in a frown.
Leiliadhe performs a graceful curtsey.
Leiliadhe ponders the situation.
Princess Leiliadhe d'Illici, Aphelion's Repose looks thoughtful and says,
"I...think I missed something."
Leiliadhe curtseys respectfully before Nocht.
Nocht blinks incredulously at Leiliadhe.
Nocht, the Silent says, "If you are indeed shards, then what could this have
splintered from...?"
Nocht points accusingly at Leiliadhe.
Izekeal says to Nocht, "The Illithoid splintered from the soulless goddess
Illith."
Princess Leiliadhe d'Illici, Aphelion's Repose says, "Oh, me? I splintered from
half of Illith the Leviathan."
Izekeal says to Nocht, "And likewise, the Kephera splintered from Keph."
Nocht, the Silent says, "The Soulless splintered along with the Elders..?"
Princess Leiliadhe d'Illici, Aphelion's Repose says, "Not all of them."
You say to Nocht, "Only Illith, as far as we know."
Princess Leiliadhe d'Illici, Aphelion's Repose says, "Illith only tried to
splinter to escape Her imprisonment."
Spirit Warden Xenthos An'Ryshe, the Ebon Strategist says, "Illith is the only
one we know of. The rest have been trapped."
Princess Leiliadhe d'Illici, Aphelion's Repose says, "Which was a failure."
Eyes widening, Nocht, the Silent says, "And Keph as well?"
Across the heavens, the stars and moon challenge night's dark reign, revealing
familiar constellations that tell the tales of myth and legend.
Princess Leiliadhe d'Illici, Aphelion's Repose says, "Keph successfully
splintered, aye."
Princess Leiliadhe d'Illici, Aphelion's Repose says, "Then her shards tried to
burn Glomdoring..."
Ryleth Peulus, The Wyrden Masquerader says, "Keph splintered to hold imprisoned
the shards of Illith."
You say to Nocht, "Glomdoring is the name of the forest once known as Gloriana.
It may have had another name when Night was bound to the forest."
The ghost of a smile passes fleetingly across Rancoura's lips.
Rubbing His head, Nocht, the Silent says, "I tire."
Nocht, the Silent says, "My thanks to those that protected My Night from Sun.
She will heal quickly now."
Xenthos smiles softly.
You say to Nocht, "We are relieved."
Ilyrel nods her head emphatically.
Leiliadhe wipes the back of her hand across her forehead in relief.
Rancoura smiles softly.
The surrounding shadows wane, falling back in despondent melancholy as Nocht,
the Silent fades seamlessly into the aether.

Kudos to the serens trying to argue that Night changed and is tainted as if they would know better than he.

Perhaps since he made Night, he can see 'inside' her better? And maybe Night has changed since then (you know, cause of the Wyrd and all) so, while she's different, she's not 'wrong' or anything - so Nocht accepts the changes and says she's just fine.

In fact, only you would be able to tell what was orginally there and what was changed, so unfortunately your logic fails on all levels.

Shiri2008-03-23 02:13:12
Various people who write books. They saw it. Unless your claim is that she was tainted (or similar), then untainted, then tainted again, I'm not gonna buy one person's account over everyone who saw her without tipex on her face, and now when I look at her she has tipex on her face.
The only way what you're saying would make sense is if Nocht didn't consider that part relevant, and he thought the hands were better than the smile. Then he could be right by virtue of having weird values. But as far as I'm concerned, the smile is the important part, and it has tipex all over it.
