Wow do you double post ALOT Tael. go back and edit the previous post you post spammer! There arent as many replies as I am being told, since you have groups of them together!

Faeling might get whacked in racial rebal, Aslaran we shall see. Notice though you hear these arguments about warriors but wheres the 'OMG Demi are OP'? Cant let warriors have all the fun!

Tael posted 8 times on the last page at the count of this post.. and I mean on the last one page, not counting the first page, learn to edit posts! tongue.gif

P.S. Up the wound levels on the stuns? pureevil.gif

I like how you take a conversation about Bonecrushers being overpowered as Demigods with speed bonuses, and expand it.

Though, yes, Demigod on fast races is a pretty big bonus. They're pretty balanced without that bonus, against other warriors.
Rika2008-03-30 00:53:38
That'd be a great step forward in nerfing BCs. Breaknose, which stuns, is at medium, I think? It is also a jab (100% chance of you targetting that body part) and is on the head (actually helps with their instakill).

Pinleg also doesn't prone.

Neither does Stun technically, unless you're counting Knockdown. Though paralysing someone on a Pinleg does count as proning.
Rika2008-03-30 01:04:29
Stun does prone by itself.

You have recovered balance on your left arm.

With a heavy overhand stroke, Rika slams a steel rapier bearing aquatic motifs down upon you. Rika hacks through your chest, gashing apart layers of skin to reveal your bloody ribcage.

That could be changed then. tongue.gif

I refuse.
Rika2008-03-30 01:08:30
Tael, you're just arguing yourself into a hole now. First you say BC stun should be nerfed but only so certain people aren't as OP as they are. Now, you're saying that stun should just be completely nerfed to not perform one of its functions.

It's not a jab anymore. Hasn't been for the last....6(?) months.

PS: I should've stayed BC. As a twohander-Tae'dae I have no chance of following up a knockdown with a hit. Sadface.
Rika2008-03-30 01:14:05
Really? Well, my first and third points still stand.
Ashteru2008-03-30 01:16:25
A stun that's not relieable to achieve really isn't that bad. tongue.gif Technically all a BC would need to do would be crushing the head 4 times, leg one time and then smiting down for the bashbrains, that should get rid of most people. No stun except in the last hit, and then it's not for the stun but for the proneing of knockdown.

Crush = ownage sleep.gif

Wonder what kind of venoms would be FUN with it (not traditional) two handers using charybdon could be fun just to randomly build stuff along with wound affs!

Nerf crush?

Well geez, why am I topic of conversation.

I'm considering making stun just make you unable to stand, attack, leave, or eat/smoke, can still sip health/apply/whatever. Probably needs more thought.

As far as the helm goes, yeah I usually just use a self-made helm (89/92) for fighting ever since I made it, I just keep the champ helm on whenever I go bash. Admittedly, there are times when I keep the champ helm during fights, but that's more me forgetting than anything else.
Rika2008-03-30 02:23:42
Just remember, BCs aren't the only ones with stun. Though the other main stun dealer (monks, especially of the stealth faeling variety) does seem to be a bit too much too.
Unknown2008-03-30 02:28:44
Well being able to scroll, sip and apply whatever while stunned should be able to help then, eh.

Though on further thought, maybe slickness should prevent applying health also (if it doesn't already), for balance purposes.

Rika2008-03-30 02:29:54
Oh, I was saying that you shouldn't nerf stun so much as nerf the possibilities with stun.

Hey, you liked my message, then! Though you changed it a bit. Really, it should act like Pinleg's locking, in that everything allowed while pinlegged is allowed by stun (excepting Trueheal and tumble, if that hasn't been fixed yet).

I believe that slickness already stops health applications, yes.

Then BC's won't be able to lock (laughable as that may be with green/gedulah) if I didn't include eat/smoke. The only way to stick crushedwindpipe with any form of efficiency is behind a stun.

Cool on the second part, though.

Isn't smoke the only one it would have to block, with slickness as part of it to stop the application? You're not locking without slickness anyways.
