Nah. Noola swears more when the mood strikes her.
I actually swear a whole lot more in verbal conversation. I try to be on good behavior on the forums, except when I really get mad.

I have to simply laugh at this. Believe it or not, I am going through candidacy right now to go to seminary and become an ordained minister. I have no trouble at all playing an RPG that involves gods, magic, and spirits. Why? It's not real. Plus, if you really did get uptight about worshiping multiple gods, remember that even in Lusternia history there was one being in the beginning, Yudhe. Doesn't sound to different from the Christian God at times.
I agree, there are a lot of Christians that gives the rest of us bad names (the movie Jesus Camp, anyone?). Hopefully though most of the world is smart enough to ignore the babbling fanatics and not judge the rest of us by the words and actions of the ignorant.

The one sad thing I discovered in the seminary is just how many babbling fanatics there really are. They don't have brainwashed children, they don't violently reject modern living, they can speak calmly and coherently about their fanaticism, and they don't protest funerals with "God hates fags" signs, so they're less immediately offensive, but it doesn't make the end result much prettier once you get to know them. So, kind advice from someone who's been down that road: don't do it.

What I really didn't get about it, was What's Up with All the Random Capital letters at Random intervals throughout The post? For some Reason, it Makes reading the Post that Much Harder (As well as Typing it, it's Really Awkward throwing in These Random caps at random Intervals). Out of Curiosity, do You feel That it Makes It Harder to read? I Do.

Nah. It doesn't seem hard to read to me. Though, when I read it, the random capitalizations give those words an added emphasis. So it's like listening to someone talk who has a really odd rythom to their speech.
I tend to use capitals like that though, for emphasis or to denote something Important. If it's REALLY important, I'll even use allcaps for the emphasis.

Didn't she justify the odd capitalization as both emphasis and indication of what's Real and what's not? Like Jesus is Real, but your church Not.

I think one of the things that amazes me more is that in the span of a little less then four hours, from the time it was started to when it was closed it had 343 posts. That's amazing.

It did kind of generate a posting frenzy didn't it? Like something out of Shark Week on the Discovery Channel!

I'm almost be tempted to say that if we really tried, we could have a forums jihad on that scale, except for the fact that our board's mods (read: Fain, Morgfyre, Estarra, Terentia, Shiribot) are always lurking and are amazing at identifying bad topics and shutting them down. I'd say that would have been shutdown at around page 10ish or so if that was on these forums. Teh Shiribot is that good.

Psh. Lusty pwns all.
But it was a hilarious read.

Actually... I think those 343 posts occurred over a period of 10 minutes. We just don't have as many people to post. I was trying to keep up with it as people were posting and I -couldn't-. There must be people who just skim the forums and refresh once a second for hours on end, because there's no other way to keep up.
