What does this mean? So if someone goes and wipes out all members of a God's order, They get weaker? Is this to promote inter-Order conflict?
I'm curious.

Divine Order's have 3 circles... They lose essence when you die I believe.. there must have been a bug that if you were in the inner circle (Inner - Middle - Outer) that you were not costing the Divine essence

Every death causes essence loss. Essence technically ties with Divine health but there's never enough damage to cause any alarm. Inner Circle members, apparently, didn't cause essence loss on death like everyone else, and now they do.

Essence lost is based on your privileges from my experience.
It was possible to be in the inner circle but not have any privs worth essence on death it seems.
Even if you are Inner Circle but not given a single power you will cost essence still.
SUMMARY: The change was most likely to lose essence even at 0 privs than being inner circle
