Please say the sale will be extended to May 15th? *hope*

Alas, no. It will only last through the end of April. Sorry!

"COMBINE DINGBATS will create an item in your inventory with the total number
of dingbats that are available to you. Always execute this command upon
receiving dingbats."

Does this mean you can give other people your dingbats?

No, sorry. They're non-transferrable. In fact, you can COMBINE DINGBATS at any time, which will pull and consolidate your dingbats into your inventory no matter where they are.

Of course, you can use them to buy gifts for others though.

I'm not sure which doll to get, I've only got 15 dingbats left after I bought a few people some stuff. They all seem so cool, unfortunately, the only way I can get more dingbats is if I buy 2K credits now crying.gif

It looks like I made my big credit purchase about two weeks too early. No dingbats for me now.

Pipe!

I've always wanted a pipe that you could just smoke as a pipe, not for curing anything. i'm gonna get one!

First off, HELP DINGBATS says that dingbats are considered OOC - does this mean I can call people insane for talking about them ingame? I've seen it already..

Second! Does that tonic thing (can't access the rewards, bare with me..), the one that says it cures an ailment (or at least makes you forget about them) actually cure anything?

Third!! People spend too much money on credits.

I think the tonic vial thing is kind of like the magic fountain you can buy for your manse. Could be wrong though. But it sounds like it randomly fills with a liquid. Might be a healing potion (which heals you) - might be a whiskey (which'll get you drunk so you forget you're hurt! laugh.gif ). Maybe? dunno.gif

I would imagine dingbats are considered similar to OOC credits. They are clearly part of the game world but don't carry the same restrictions about what you can do with them as credits earned IC do.

While they are OOC, we've given them a slight RP veneer with Jeremiah so I don't see a big deal. If you don't like the word "dingbat", I often refer to them as "dingies" (can't be that different than Canadian loonies!).

You take a long draught of water, hoping to quench your thirst.
Your vision blurs and body quivers as you slam back a large mouthful of Jeremiah Gryphta's Olde Tyme Healing Tonic, causing an overwhelming warmth to race through your body through your chest, down through your stomach and legs then eventually out through your toes. The experience leaves you feeling good - no, great! - as you sway momentarily on the spot.

damn, the artifact I want (scarecrow hat) requires 1000 credits.

I have no idea what I would do with 1000 credits (sigh)

That scarecrow hat is so much more powerfull then anything else on that list... and so much more universally usefull.

Wierd.

Commune credit sale?
Karnagan2008-04-03 23:12:35
Given the number of people who want certain items, I'm confident that some people will gladly sell back their dingbats for an equivalent amount of credits. Maybe even more! biggrin.gif
