Given the number of people who want certain items, I'm confident that some people will gladly sell back their dingbats for an equivalent amount of credits. Maybe even more!
But you can't transfer dingbats, so how would that work?

You can use dingbats to purchase gifts for others, so theoretically you could "sell" those gifts for credits (if you have dingbats and want credits).
Sarrasri2008-04-03 23:17:34
The person with dingbats would gift the person with what they want, and the giftee would transfer credits to the gifter.

If one side failed to hold up the bargain would it be something you could ISSUE over?
Karnagan2008-04-04 00:39:14
Scams are frowned upon with dingbats. Make sure to get confirmatory messages from the other party! That way we all have records of what's what.
Unknown2008-04-04 01:39:43
I'll reimburse folks credits for dingbats, if anyone wants to buy me any presents.
Enero2008-04-04 02:03:08
Question about the dingbats, perhaps someone can confirm.
If I make, say, two purchases of 500 credits, do I get dingbats both times, or only the first time?
The report leaves me with impression that I wouldn't get any more dingbats unless I buy 1000 or 2000 credits, though I've heard various answers from other people.
Can anyone clarify?
Thanks!

During the promotional period, as soon as you hit certain tiers, you will receive dingbats in amounts:
- 100 15 dingbats
- 300 30 dingbats
- 500 30 dingbats
- 1000 75 dingbats
- 2000 150 dingbats
This means if you made two purchases at 500 (during any time during the period), you'd received dingbats for level 100, 300, 500 (15+30+30+75 dingbats). You wouldn't receive any more dingbats until you purchase an additional 1k credits to trigger the 2000 mark in which case you'd get another 150 dingbats.
Hope that made sense!
Krellan2008-04-04 02:20:03
you forgot to mention 1000, though you did have the 75 dingbat number in the parenthesises

That indeed made sense and you made me a very sad person now...
I can only wish I would've known this before I made my purchase. I bought 1000 credits and got my 150 dingbats. Since I wanted the suitcase I figured I will buy 500 more sometime during the month so I get the needed 200.
Now, as it turns out, I had to do it the other way around, buy 500 and then 1000 later.
Since there is no way I will be buying 2000 credits.... I'm sad
EDIT: Actually the more I think about this, the more the sadness is turning into anger
EDIT2: Why can't it work both ways?

... read it again!
500 the first time gets you the first 500 credits worth of bonuses. The second 500 nets you the next set (for a total of 1000 purchased). Then, to get any more dingbats, you'd have to purchase another thousand to get the last set.
Buying 500 and then 1000 is the same as buying 1000 and then 500-- 1500 total purchased.

Slap me please...
I have an excuse though, 4am in the morning. So I still can get it, but I need to dish out enough moneys for another 1000, so I trigger 2000 thingy, correct?

Yep. You've bought 1000 credits, and you've gotten 150 dingbats. The next stage is 2000 total.
HOWEVER. What if you buy your next 500 on another character? That's 75 more dingbats, and you can use them to buy a gift for your main character.

well, I'm not really into dollies, or those annoying pipe things... I want the suitcase, which as far as I understand is a "free" equivalent of purse with ability to lock it on top of that... also, it's unique (at least more or less).
The question is though, do I really want it that badly

The containers are really cool. I'm surprised they aren't more popular, but everyone seems to be doll crazy!

I'd be a lot more tempted if I didn't already have a parafilament purse. It's not worth a 2000 credit purchase for that small an upgrade, though (to me at least).

Since people keep posting about equivalent, I have to ask: Do you mean equivalent number of credits for dingbats (that is, 15)? Or equivalent number of credits for the actual real-world cost of the item (100)?
I guess I'm saying that you all should probably define your offer if you're going to make one.
