Favorite trends!

There are a lot of personalities in Lusternia, which have you enjoyed the most? That personality can be one of your own characters, an NPC, another player, a player god.. It doesn't matter what the personality belongs to.

I haven't played a whole lot of Lusternia, but I try to get around on it. I've really enjoyed Tervic's personality so far. I see the guy hanging out intoning things such as, "Doom..", which I take as humor. Seems like a fun character to hang out with.

Curious to see other personalities out there. Unfortunately I also am curious as to how many player characters personalities are RP or themselves. Eh.. I guess it doesn't matter so long as you don't know any better, right?

I really like myself.

Glumki.

I've always said he's the single best supermob ever, and now that his plushies are out, everyone else has realized the truth.
Prisch2008-04-08 22:38:08
My character is the complete opposite of who I am OOC, so it's challenging to stay inrole at all times and always use correct mannerisms in speech/emotes, but I try.

RP-wise I respect Rika.

Not to be cliche, but, there are enough people that I really enjoy that I don't want to single any of them out. Some people are fun to be around, others have interesting personalities, others bring out aspects of Akui that I otherwise wouldn't really get to RP.

From a distance, Shayle.

More personally, Astraea, Linaeve, Sadye, or Sthai.

Morvior and Fain<3

Shayle, she had that intimidatingly cool factor, with a side of neat freak, and humour pulled into it. I remember talking to Druken and Shayle at the same time once, it was great. Druken was trying to teach me how to test people better, and Shayle was distracting me with poisons. (best SD leadership combo I've seen.) Along with the regal "I'll do what I want and you had better do as I say or else." feeling you got from her just tied her character together when she was Queen. She is just so cool. She's Daem's idol. wub.gif

Also Zia is cool but it's complicated how. She has that motherly aura about her and she has the feeling of strength in her character because she's a demigoddess and is really intelligent and helpful. When she suggests something she makes you feel like you should do it even though you know you don't have too.

An NPC I like is Orovosh, (I think that is his name) The Igasho caves leader, he acts just like Shishi, and I didn't plan it like that.

On a side note my three characters I play are all really different. One doesn't like formal things, hates people bowing to him, and calling him sir, etc and acts old and senile. Another won't stop being formal, bows when people enter the room, or before he leaves, another acts really young and like he doesn't know very much.

Shayle, my brief stint with a SD alt was awesome.

Elostian, when he's not trying to pry too philosophically.

Lyreth, for being awesome (but sadly, gone).

Morgfyre, in the forum/news-writer/admin sense, since he actually tries to be funny sometimes in his posts.

Shayle + 3 divine...wow...

blush.gif Ashai and Hyperion are definitely two of my favorite people in Lusty. And they both left the SD's angry.gif

Hmm, Leiliadhe makes my world go 'round, Ilyrel, Kayleigh, Valonah, Drusilla, there's all these little SD's that make me super happy.

Marina. She keeps things interesting for Astraea, two wholly different people with nearly the same exact goals and aspirations.

Xinemus enhances my playing time greatly, and he's absolutely hysterical otherwise. Except I nearly forgot both of them because I never see him anymore. Woe. Druken, as always, that dude is made of freaking Regal.

NPCwise, Rowena and Mother Night, of course. Gwyllgi and Glumki, though I don't really like Lhiannan. River Daughter/Sister Lake, because that quest is so darn cool for one so newb-oriented. Strangely enough, post-prison Isune really connected with me on some level. The Wyrdling.
Daganev2008-04-09 03:46:13
I miss old Daganev.

I really like the Viscanti family NPCs, and also the Wyrdling.
Arix2008-04-09 03:47:29
FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIN!

My favorite NPC is Baalphegar, and my second favorite NPC is Nejii.

Terentia

Malicia, she has to be one of the coolest people in Lusternia.

Creslin, because he is incredibly level headed in all situations. This goes for Catarin as well.

Talkan, just because he rps one of the most zealous characters.

Nydekion, and Geb, because both of them have that sort of reserved, quiet, yet total badass aura.

And on the non-celest side, I always had great respect for Sthai, Linaeve, and Nariah, because of what they post on bardics (I always love their entries), and because they roleplay their parts so very well. I don't get to encounter them a lot, but they seem like an awesome group to be a part of.

Also for Lendren, who initially inspired me to be an artisan, since at the time Celest had no one but Thiden and Wuylinfe, neither of which were too active. I just can't seem to keep up with him and his cartels, though, but I like that I have a goal and another artisan to look up to.

And also, Zia. Her plays are amazing. I have a Seren alt just so I can sit and watch them in silence ninja.gif.

And for NPCs... I always had a thing for the Celestine's guild tutor, Torili. He'd speak up at the best times wub.gif.

I met Shayle once, but she tried to convince me that the encounter was a figment of my imagination
ongaku2008-04-09 08:48:03
I hate threads like this. It always ticks me off hearing about how popular other people are. dry.gif

Other than that, I like Revan because he's kinda scary, but really super personable and fun to be around at the same time.

Endantee is the coolest Seren EVER for a lot of reasons.

Arimisia is great, she's very motherly towards Ongaku.

Morgfyre is awesome, always a joy to speak with (when He has time to speak with me), and fun as hell to worship.

And hell, I'll go ahead and say it. I love Ongaku. He is so fun and crazy, I think he's my favorite of all my characters, because he's definitely the most unique. I'm not afraid to admit that I think quite highly of my own character.

Also, I hardly think Shayle is a unique character. Go play in Mhaldor in Achaea for a little bit and you'll see what I mean. It's a whole city of Shayles. She's ok, not like I have any huge problem with her, I just get tired of hearing people praise her for things I've seen in a lot of other leaders of evil/dark cities.
silimaur2008-04-09 10:13:33
its not about things shes done as leader, she was fun to talk to when she was telling you off or praising you..i enjoyed it either way

The way she spoke to Ongaku was always very similar to the way other pompous higher-ups in dark/evil cities have spoken to my characters. I just don't see what's so special about Shayle, though I suppose I'm biased, since I have never particularly liked that character type.
Shurimaru2008-04-09 13:34:55
Back when Shurimaru was a philanderer, I thought that was a lot of fun - blatant flirting with any female, and then seeming shocked when they rejected his impeccably sexy charms. And narcissistic goes without saying.

Now he's been turned into an innocent, naive kid, who doesn't know the first thing about...well, anything, and that's fun too.

Shurimaru aside, I really like Baalphegar as an NPC, and Revan for the same reasons Ongaku said. Also, Amalii is fun because she teases Shurimaru like there's no tomorrow, and he can't tell if she's being serious or not.
Who else? There are a lot of people I like, but the reasons I like them are so diffuse and scattered that it'd be hard to get into any great detail on any of them. Meh.
