I have a lot of favourites, but credit has to go to Marzolan and Neerth for a lot of early impact and convincing me to keep playing.

And as far as NPCs go, Squibbles wins. (Though Grad is pretty damn funny)

Druken for sure. He's scary in such a subtle way you don't even notice untill he's gone.

Geeze, no variety in favorites and dissapointing in who's NOT mentioned.

Well, here's my favorites then, to set the record straight with you unfortunate ones.

Shikha - Seriously. How could she NOT be mentioned yet. Even Celest wants this kid to come over there, she's THAT awesome. Hard working, honest, kind, dedicated, and having at rare times a delicious cruel streak...This girl gets thumbs up.
Amarysse - While not as active as some people would like her to be, she DID snag a seal when she was moments out of the Portal of Fates. Her sincerity and true desire to be helpful marks her as an unselfish individual worth respect.
Alodia - Another paragon of kindness and dedication.
Synl / Ragniliff - These two are bunched together because they are both solemn and quiet. Both have a strong dedication to both Commune and commune mates that is sorely lacking in apathetic Glomdoring. These two deserve cookies on a daily basis.
Crylia - This girl loves her race so much, she has TWO very different kitty pets.

Eliron - Gentle guild administrator of the Harbingers, he remained faithful to the guild when the Nekotai phase came. His dedication to the guild is remarkable, and most of his work goes without thanks or even notice. Still he toils on, even when his race faces impending doom from his occaisional quips. Certainly one of my favorite men of Lusternia.
Thoros - This guy will cheerfully rip out your spleen, eat it, and ask how your day's been going. My favorite bad-ass guy in Lusternia.

Elostian - The only god that hasn't pissed me off, I figure that defaults him as a favorite.

And naturally, I both hate and love Kharaen. She doesn't need combat abilities to be scary. Nothing like I am in reality, I'm kind of a Hinata in real life.

There's a ton more, most female, heh.

In no particular order, the people who made me stick with Lusternia (until the unfortunate onset of real life) because of their wtftastic roleplay were Ranadae, Linaeve, Sthai, the janitor npc in Magnagora who talks about philosophy, Nariah, and Fain.

...Tully (the janitor) wasn't an NPC, fyi.

Xinemus, Xenthos, Xavius - the XXX crown of Glom-rp goodness. All fanatics in their own, unique ways. All cool as hell.

Bomani Wyrmglow - An endless source of entertainment.

Yeralih, Shayle - As potentially dangerous as it is to list them together, they share the distinction of scaring the out of me IC, which is rare.

Ashteru, Arel - My partners in the eviltastic conspiracy, general hang-out buddies, and the people who talked me into the fun of Elostian's order. Damn fine.

Forren, Revan, Random Illithoid - I rather liked foreign negotiations.

Kalodan - Omg omg omg. I miss shouted debates about hart/crow and nature/wyrd. So much. And I liked having a slimy bastard to point at in the other commune.

I'm sure I missed a few, so I'll edit later.

Okay, some people I missed -

Druken - Despite yelling at me over Bellators for forgetting him and threatening to slit his wrists, Druken is definitely one of the hardcore rp-gurus who make Glomdoring awesome. And he's another artisan!

Amarysse - She makes gorgeous, gorgeous prose on very short notice. Intriguing and interesting to be around. Aaaand...another artisan.

d'Illicis - Everyone from Daem to Iythiel who I haven't already mentioned rocks my socks.

Dylara - Trying to convert her was fun - and then I did! Good improvisational collaborator type person.

Synl - Even if he abandoned Shikari for Nocht, he's still cool and energetic.

Exeryte - Once, I thought he was a humorless bashing and questing machine. But now I know he's a cool humorless bashing and questing machine.

Shuyin/Sojiro - A fun opponent, and just as interestingly fanatical as Kalodan in a quieter way.

I think Exeryte's funny...

Ried got high on my list for wanting to listen to Dylara's stories and mutterings. Wonderful IG daughter.
