Eh, my Nano is getting really scruffed up and I could use a new music player. I'll give you 2,152,515 gold and 100 credits for it. Gold up front, credits after it shows up in the mail.

Not to be that guy, but selling an iTouch for gold is OOC.

Just FYI, you can get the songs off an iPod by just having the iPod. The name of the program's called "iPod access for windows" and I'm pretty sure they have a mac version too. What you do is you open the program, plug in your iPod and you can download the songs from the iPod directly into your iTunes without needing to go through and enter the track information manually. Everything's copied over, so taking ownership of Ruiku's music is still a viable option

If someone wants to buy me a medium bamboo tablet, I'll pay em 700cr with the eventual artisanal credits I'll win with it.

Update: Ruiku failed to uphold his end of the bargain after the gold was delivered. After making several excuses as to why he couldn't ship the iTouch, he's finally ceased to reply to any form of communication whatsoever. It's no biggie for me since I no longer play and was planning on giving the gold to a random newbie anyway, but just a heads up to anyone who plans on having any transaction with this person in the future: it probably ain't a good idea.

Desitrus2008-06-12 18:21:57
Who didn't see that one coming?
Nemerle2008-06-13 08:09:27
So i guess there'll be a rich Ruiku alt running around somewhere now.
Desitrus2008-06-13 08:16:19
Nah, he used it to change to Celestine or something. It's too bad we can't shun him IC'ly for retarded stuff like this.
Arix2008-06-13 08:49:27
I saw the title of this thread and thought 'Wow, did the prices at Luciden's place go up?'

Yeah and the problem from an admin point of view is they have no real way to know if the RL trade happened or not as well. So they can not very well take a side and help enforce things in game.
This is why I only every trade for in game items, and I make sure there is a message record of the trades before they happen so (in theory) I could seek admin help if someone tried to screw me over.

They can't track whether the OOC item has actually changed hands.

But if they're talking in IC messages, or forum-messages, with all of the "Erm, I can't send it, I can't send it" comments... *shrug* Not that they've actually agreed to or can be expected to enforce it even if they do have access to the messages, but they can do some digging if they really want to.

Ekaru2008-06-15 01:18:23
Okay dood, I'll retract my statement when it arrives and sing your praises from sea to shining sea. Otherwise, assume it stands.
