Just dont make it a you were all so powerful for too long you should all suck to repent. Thats bad.
They are a bit slower.. what used to be 3 seconds to hit with is now 3.5. .5 seconds matters alot with things like writhe, focus times, and healing.
You just like to try to argue things dontcha xav?

You're right, .5 seconds matters quite a bit. That's exactly why eq bonuses matter so much, or a balance bonus in the hands of a monk, and that's exactly why mugwumps needed a solid nerfing. I know timestamps on that server mean about as much as sheqels in Iran, but let's say mugwump eq is 15% faster now, down from 22.5%. Seems a reasonable guess. That still puts you .6 seconds faster than an eq-neutral race on your standard 4-sec attack. That still puts a bard mugwump's dps 15% higher than a high level human's. That's a 1.2 second cushion for a druid mugwump with 10p to double sap and stick vines while someone is off-eq from cleanse. It means that mugwumps have the eq bonus as unnerfed aslarans had on tarot, which was not piddly or negligible or mediocre or anything of the sort, and aslaran would still be faster than unnerfed furrikin. Shaving that speed off of mugwump didn't make them useless and slow, but like I said, if it doesn't hurt, someone did it wrong. There should be a handful of bard mugwumps crying on the forums about how they don't know how to play their class anymore once these changes go live. Mugwump have done too much to game balance for anyone in their right mind to think speed advantages for an affliction class aren't majorly imbalancing, and you've been envoy long enough to realize that.

I really shouldn't complain; even with the demigod nerfing, demigod's still worth having, IMO. But I traded in my Rune of Vigor after becoming a demigod since I no longer could benefit from it, and now I'm going to need to get one again, and that means I lost 284cr due to the 1/3 trade-in penalty; and for some reason, that's sticking in my craw, where the demigod nerf itself isn't bugging me. Go figure.

Understandable, except that I would've kept it if I were you. The demigod regeneration didn't work on Prime before, right? So, you did benefit from the rune sometimes...

Demigod regeneration worked on prime before.

I must be misinformed then. Carry on.

1) Monks and bards were better afflicters.. bards can now be balanced to more base speeds.
2) Monks and knights will still likely be better afflicters, then again so will bards.
3) Guardians havent been excellent afflicters t the extent the others have except for being a hexist which hasnt been used for quite some time due to how it works.
4) Bards are the guardians without aeon and with buffed passives/actives
5) The fallout of these speed changes, has yet to fully be felt.

I think you mean Fallout, not downfall

the purpose of the rebalancing is? some races are much too powerful and needs to be nerfed? however, lots of these races are gonna be changed/altered, the result of which might be -- some races will be much too powerful and needs to be nerfed..
im just cynical i guess.. it just seems to me that some people just really hates bards.. and to a greater extent -- monks.
but anyway, carry on with your fun.. carry on..
