Could recalling be returned as 'REJECT' instead of 'WIP'? When a Charite asks if I'd rather have my design rejected or recalled, I always say rejected, simply cause recalling a design for a private design resets it to WIP and means that it'll cost another freaking 5k (that's a credit gents) to resubmit as private.
So please. I sometimes WANT to recall a design, cause I noticed an error, or I put a greatrobe examined in a ring design, and most of the time I just wait for a rejection instead.
It'll save time, and gold, for both Charites and Trademasters.

That would be so friggin' sweet. I can't even describe.
And I'm with Fionn on this. I enjoy putting in my time and money for putting in designs to Seatimber and other private cartels. I lose a ton of gold, but it's not like I can't go out and kill stuff for more of it. And I'm sure if I said, "Hey, Celest, I've sinked about 2 million gold making **** for you to enjoy, I think I'd like 20k in compensation" I'm sure they'd be like, "Yeah, okay."

What needs to be done with public Cartels is this. they need to have some sort of a newsboard or channel so that all the members can contact each other, ahve a place to discuss ideas, etc. as well as a place to campaign for new trademasters. as it is CARTEL TREEHEARTH will only show who in the cartel is currently online, not all members. so if you wanted to campaign to run for TM you'd have to post it on the commune newsboard and then a whole bunch of people who have no say in the vote have to read this and it just clutters it up. and without a way to contact other cartel members you jsut have to rely solely on the hope that people recognize your name... i think that should definately be changed!

If memory serves, the city/commune cartels have their own newsboard, just not aether.

5k is one honours quest, one full scholar, pilgrim, bard, and cow run, or about 75 minutes in the Undervault.
Becoming trademaster of a state cartel is the cheapest way to become trademaster.
No thank you.

I sort of have to agree. Becoming trademaster of you own city/commune isn't that difficult, especially since a lot of people aren't even that interested in those positions (compared to guild or city/commune positions, that is), compared to the 1 million gold (about 200 credits) it takes to have a private cartel.

I agree with you completely Aison. I do know that Mag did have a policy under Bharian (and I think Daevos) to reimburse or mitigate costs of designs. It was pretty sweet.
