I think we have it backwards... Mag is the new Glom.

Yeah, and population trends being what they are, this too shall pass. My problem, such as it is, relates to the two largest powers in the game sharing tea and crumpets, with the two "dark" organizations on the downswing. It's possible to come back from two sides being slightly imbalanced, but when the two light sides are teamed up, with no incentive to break that? (A spiffy bit of diplomacy/ sharing goals, btw)

seren and celest have been at each others throats before. It isn't permanent. The players in celest have worked hard in the game to ensure the relations with the other organizations. It's only sensible that something would come out of it.
Karnagan2008-04-25 23:37:26
It shows. I'm not saying that the situation here didn't come out of some hard work- and relative absence of errors- on your end, as much as relative lack of players and certain problems on ours.

dazed.gif Either she didn't mention it in her post or I didn't read it carefully enough (which is very possible, me=sleep deprived). That's awful, never seen Meliana even show up for a raid. doh.gif

I, too, would be surprised if this were the case and would appreciate some hard data (or at least specific claims that I can check for veracity). If there is an imbalance on either side, I will certainly correct it. Consider me a skeptic until then, though.

Without reading the rest of the thread for now, I can only think of two things off the top of my head: Nif does mainly bleeding, which doesn't have to lead to certain death, whereas Raziela has room aeon, which...is bad.

Luciphage does room wide aeon too.

Really? Oooh, never knew.

My favourite Luci attack is the one where he breaks all your limbs simultaneously. He's a classy man.

Just a note on this griefing of newbies. Mel was an enemy to our city and I was told was participating in the raids that have us set how we are. I have only killed Enemies and I have every right to considering the BS happening to Mag right now. Also, I never stole from her, my system auto-grabs :censor: and once I returned to Mag I immediately sent them back to her and let her know I didnt mean to take them. I don't really mind being called a griefer anymore, people are stupid. I can easily apply the same title to Narsrim, Dysolis, Talkan, Forren (when he was here), Acrune and many, many others. Each person has a different perception, so who really cares?

And I assume its cause they are the ones who transform fae. Or, at least Raziela used to.
Ildaudid2008-04-26 15:21:45
Raziela I hate not because of the aeon.... because of the bloody force drops... she can make you drop weapons, shields and maybe other things too (not sure) through selfishness and grip... Hell I don't mind being thrown to astral any of that.... I hate losing gear. sad.gif
Shiri2008-04-26 15:21:48
And Luciphage doesn't. Heh.

Was that a question? Honestly. I don't think he does. But I am not sure, never fought Luci. Does a Nil Lord do drops through selfishness?
Aison2008-04-26 15:31:13
Gorgulu sucks to kill, though...
Ildaudid2008-04-26 15:34:45
Sucking to kill is one thing, losing your shield, your weapon that took 8 RL days to forge, stuff like that is another. Now I have been lucky. When it has happened to me, I normally asked someone like Alodia or Acrune to grab me my gear. And I knew some paladins who would do the same for me. Then again, it might be because when a celestian lost something I would try to get it back to them as well.
Shiri2008-04-26 15:39:46
It wasn't a question, it was a statement. Luciphage isn't the Fae converting one. He may well aeon everyone though.

Gorgulu/Raziela convert fae
Shakiniel/Nifilhema convert imps/cherubs
Japhiel/Baalphegar convert fiends/devas
Methrenton/Ashtorath convert demons/angels
Elohora/Luciphage convert archdemons/archangels

That happened to me on Astral once, I ended up with someone's robes. I asked people from commune/cities to ask if anyone lost a pair but no one ever answered me so the robes ended up decaying sad.gif.

But grip and selfishness are your best friends for never losing stuff.

Killing Gorgulu is like... you go into the room, 2/3 of the party dies, meaty people manage to stay alive and get in some hits, you die, conglut, and then go back to finish it off. That is how it is nowadays at least. I remember when you'd go in, get in maybe one or two hits while the Demigods struggled to stay alive, died, congluted, put up very basic defences, went back, hit twice, died, etc. over and over. Those were the DAYS.

Grip and Selfishness don't work with Raziela. That is what I am trying to say.... she bypasses them and you end up dropping even if you have grip and selfish up smile.gif
