I put on my robe and wizard hat.
I steal them. Leaving you naked in the middle of the street.
Well, good luck in your new home, Taika!

Hear here! Someone who recognizes RP is ongoing and not something you do just when you get bored!! Living in Lusternia is RP. I don't understand the phrases "best rp here" and so on because at all times there is role play going on all around, walking through the woods is role playing, strolling down the street is role playing. Looking up at the sky and while laying down in the grass with your friends and determining the shape of clouds. When it is done in Lusternia every action is you role playing your character.
I wonder if people interchange the word culture with role playing. I can understand an organization having a better culture, a tighter nit group, a more engaging atmosphere, but I can't understand how one organization can be better role play than another.

Not everyone actually role plays. Playing your character isn't enough to just "role play". I've seen bad RP from people who are supposed to be good role players. I see bad RP from many many people. To me, a the guild with the best role play would be the guild that has the largest amount (or most redeeming amount) of GOOD or just ACTUAL attempts at roleplay. I see such lazy performance, and room for improvement on how people play. A good example is this.. When a unique event happens, people like to explain it with DIRECT CUT AND PASTE. They post it in city news as their character (especially since you're not supposed to go OOC there), they paste it straight into city chat, or guild chat! I ask you, how the hell is that role playing? So, yeah, you can easily not roleplay while playing Lusternia, happens quite a bit.
What Daganev means is that he justifies his actions in a sense of in character perspectives, not using technical terms or just hotfixed replacements for what he really means, (or so I hope). If I'm on the ball, then I would assume Daganev doesn't use terms like "reflex" in place of trigger. I certaintly don't.
I find it enjoyable looking at Lusternia from my characters perspective instead of my own. My characters thoughts, feelings, actions. Not mine. I put effort into playing a role and I find it distracting and annoying when somebody spouts off unrealistic crap, or they play their guild role poorly. It's not like any of this is hard to do.. I played pretty much myself for a few months on a MUD. I didn't distract anyone with unrealistic crap, and kept to my characters defined role via guild. I was still learning MUDs and trying to get a sense of RP. People could at least do that much. Not being unrealistic is so damned easy to do, yet so many fail that even.
Again.. Just being in the game is not enough to role play. As another character you can TAKE it as RP and question their actions, but it doesn't change the fact that they aren't really trying.
quick edit - oopsy typo

I don't know. I see a lot of "RP", but I put RP in quotes because it is so transparent an attempt at roleplay that it is utterly unconvincing, not to mention something you can see a mile away.
If you're looking for the best RP, it can be subtle, and not very flashy. The best RP doesn't come in "events", or sermons/rituals, etc. Those are just the icing on the cake. The best RP is a constant adherence to making your character act "true".
The best RP isn't turned "on" when it's time for "RP mode", only to be abandoned for frivolous emoting when OOC friends log on - something that very few can actually do. I know I sure as hell can't.

QFT.
Good RP is icing on the cake, just like that. Admiring the coat on that lovely pegasus, and using emotes, whether custom or not, consistently and with your character.
It is very difficult to keep up and means you must be active all the time. And it is very disheartening when people do not respond in kind or seem to not really care either way.
But I always love the small affects myself. Sneezing, and using those neat SAY emotes.
