I am going with my gut now on this vote. And I hope my gut doesn't fail me!!

I personally do find the speed at which 7 people nerfed Celina a little suspicious.

The mafia know who each other are and those that voted for Celina did not even give her the chance to role claim which is there to help us in our attempt to ya know... not kill our own, for that reason Shaddus killing her with a skill seems all the more suspicious but it might pass for now.

Xenthos however ensured that the final... change to her code?

We may be dealing with about 3 to 4 people in a mafia before considering things like SKs. Remembering that only one person has died each night.

Though Xavius also seems suspicious I'll go with a

This is second day, this grouping thing hasn't worked before and were down 2 townies.
While the gank squad is quite correct in that those who are quiet can tend to be mafia, they forget that the loud-mouth "rawr everyone is mafia, omg lets lynch this guy" also have an equal chance.

I know that I am not mafia, I hadn't logged for... about 16 hours before night 1 ended and quite a few after, making me unable to participate in any night choices which is generally required for mafia.

Maybe it's because I instinctively do not trust loud-mouth people, however the mafia as I see it would be

Ildaudid: Could be newbie, but again voting with a group is heavily sus.

Xenthos: Voting for someone when they are about to get lynched, ah I clearly remember my first mafia game. The cries of "SCUM!!!!!1" still ringing in my ear because someone didn't get the chance to role claim.

Othero has some slight suspicion just because he actually killed Celina so the reasoning for Xenthos also applies.

Pardon? I specifically held off on placing the sixth vote on Celina just so that there wouldn't be a chance of the mafia doing a ninja-lynch (which turned out to be a good thing, as the lynch number was actually 6 instead of 7). I asked Celina for some information, and she immediately started posting about burning orphanages and the like. I'm not sure if you missed that or something, but that's not exactly a huge source of information.

Again, no one actually asked her for a role claim. If this is her first game then she wouldn't necessarily know to do so in that situation. I remember people having to be prompted before because they didn't know about role claiming, in this case we might still have a townie around but we don't.

Plus this is like a FOS and someone has to remember that quote about the worth of a fos.

Even in someone's first game, I'm pretty sure that it's not that difficult to realize if people are voting for you, yelling insults and such at them isn't a good way to make them stop (and is likely to end up with them just ending the thing).

Further, I did try to prompt her to reveal something. Perhaps it wasn't as clear as it could have been, but it was a lot more than that whole 'hop on the bandwagon' thing.

I'm also trying to figure out why you're poking at me for just ending it after her post, when you said this when you 'got back':

However even had I voted for Celina, I wouldn't have been the final vote and I would have had the decency to tell her about role-claiming.

As I said, I was trying to give her a chance to reason with us and give us something to make us back off. It probably wasn't as clear as it should've been, but still, she had a few choices even if she didn't know about roleclaiming. One was a more reasonable "Hey, what options do I really have here?", and the other was a "Just go ahead and lynch me, I'm done." She chose the latter, though I'm really not sure why (and I'm not going to buy that even a newbie doesn't have some understanding of what inciting the rest of the game will do. That's a pretty standard thing across all games).

Would have turned out a lot better if she had stayed calm, unfortunately.

I take issue with this. The first vote was generic day one bandwagoning. Everyone day one bandwagons. What else do you do with day one? I switched to Celina. Who wouldn't switch to Celina? We get to play the game without the drama llama. Even you were upset you didn't get to cast a vote for her.

As for you, Ashai, and Ildaudid, there's a whole cluster of posts with my reasoning. You and Ashai are showing very typical evil night role behavior. The target choices show a prejudice against Mags that I'd expect from Celenwilde, which exists just as much on the forums as it does in the game. Heck, it exists more on the forums than in the game.

I also find highly suspect your initial vote for Xenthos, who is showing some of the least night role-ish activity out there. Day one, whatever, we all vote random. I think Shayle's town. If anything, you looked more innocent before you started posting. I'll follow the crowd to Ashai if that's what they want, since he's one of the three-and-a-half people who're being suspicious, but my gut says you're way more suspect than Ashai, and I'm almost inclined to let Othero off the hook because you're pushing for him.

Its all too easy to vote for Xenthos, isn't it? He's smart, sneaky, and you've got the feeling he could be playing you. Its hard to explain the Xenthos suspicion, but I see it is there. Although, I clearly think there are some better candidates for your vote right now.

Like he doesn't understand the subtle manipulations or silent suggestions that flow through every post in this thread. Well, I think he knows. I think he has a night power. I think he has been just trying to lay low. The above is an indicator of someone who is a little shocked and annoyed (angry even) that he has been targetted. Instead of defending his stance or innactivity with reason, he makes some silly comment in all caps trying to inspire pity from the lynch mob. He'll get no pity from me.
