Just post with ANSI codes turned on. You can then view the log in the CMUD editor to see color. Obviously the HTML would be better for general purpose viewing, but for those with CMUD (or an editor able to display ANSI) this can be another option.

Also why no time stamps? In CMUD you can have time stamps only put in when you log so they do not clutter up your screen if they bother you during play.

That's the whole problem you see. I went to save the buffer and cmud crashed, so all I had was a giant copy that I could get off before it forced me to close. Copying doesn't grab the timestamps, only actual logging and save buffer do, afaik. I pasted it into the editor, which parses line by line. My work computer choked on it so it took nearly two hours, at the end of which cmud CRASHED ANYWAY, and I was back at square one.

So yeah, all I have left is that awful colorless log. SOWWY.
