Just to clarify, its when Kaalak and Shayle thought I was acting scummy. Might help in the reading bits.

Just did some serious combing through the topic. My head hurts now, but..

Daganev was nowhere near being lynched at any time, unless you count being one of the two people at the time who were one vote away from being lynched because of Bali's deadline.

He also 'defended' Othero..



And Veracruz..



Though I'll be the first to admit that this is skimpy evidence at best, both did turn up scum, and I'm inclined to believe Shayle's roleclaim because of itself. Daganev's never been in much danger of being lynched, either, since the tide's always turned in time, or there were just even more suspicious.. suspects.

So, unless someone has more convincing evidence, I'm going to go with the gut feeling I got while re-reading.. Plus that he can never get my name right.

On second re-read, I also partly agree with Furien. Daganev does seem under the radar, and maybe a little too helpful with the post counts and too lucky with breaks (due to ongoing argument, other suspicious people, etc).

Ok, your first sentence makes no sense. I was NEVER close to being lynched, except for that one time, when I was one vote away from being lynched.... I'm not sure how you can be closer to being lynched than 1 vote.


If you read through the thread more objectively, you will also notice that I defended other people who were not scum. I.e. I "defended" people when I thought arguments were false.

I personally don't believe Shayle's rolclaim either. I'll believe the roll, I just don't believe she has no powers.

I wouldn't be surprised if "phone sex operator" was actually a mafia possition.

Also, I would wager that I "seem to get lucky breaks" because of the fact that other people actually WERE more suspicous then me. Including the fact that they were scum!

If another person find's Shayle's roleclaim convincing, I think I'm going to have to FOS: Furien. He only seemed to wake up and be active after Shayle was threatened, and he had to find some excuse not to vote for her.

The thing is, there were two other people who were also one vote away from being lynched, so given that there WERE more suspicious people, there was minimal risk to you. If we're actually talking about the same day and voting period, that is.

We didn't actually know they were scum at that point, so.. okay. I don't really want to go read through the entire topic again, so I'll give you that. Unvote: Daganev until someone else can come up or see better reasons than my own.

Interesting point though - that Shayle's role is real but her claimed alignment isn't. It's my first game, so I don't quite know the intricacies of roles, but it does sound plausible.

I'll reserve my vote for the moment, because I need to take myself off to bed.

Just a quick response to something Shammy said, I think Shayle might be scum but I will say that someone did try to kill me, I was just saved. So I don't think she planned to not kill me then cast suspicion my way for still being alive. I did warn her about pointing the finger at me though. The more I read, the less I think she's really scum and just. I'm still not sure though.

I actually started playing -just before- Shayle came under suspicion, though. Also, Phone Sex Operator = Mafia Goon? Unless she's going to strangle people with telephone wires or suddenly speak to her clients in a man voice mid-session, I don't think she'll be killing anyone!

1. Talk to someone at night and get them to spill thier allegance to you (mafia cop)
2. Seduce someone at night to prepare them for a kidnapping (perhaps this is how kaalak "died"?)
3. Cause someone else to call you at night stealing all thier money and making them feel shame (roll block)

For the record I was not giving out anything I know. Just remarking on how a Phone Sex operator could be deadly.
