Is there anything that's limited to S1 that I should try to get before I finally loop?

There's nothing limited to S1 at all. Sannin is good to have, but hardly necessary unless you're a village leader looking to do the Impossible Mission (which I am). The 15% ryo bonus sure is nice though.

Argh, wasteland is so insanely difficult it hurts me.

You in the Outskirts or the Wasteland proper? I'm not looking forward to 40 stamina hits, I don't care how much I'm mitigating. Outskirts is dirt simple now that I've got the Three of Four team going, but I'm still collecting Emo Rock CDs. Stupid Emosuke.

Wastelands is about as bad as monochrome. Wasteland rebreathers are easy to get at that point, and when combined with a wasteland dustcloak you're only taking a 10 stamina hit.

Outskirts. I realize the only reason it's so hard is because I'm just trying to gather the first couple of allies, but ugh.

Inner Monologue. All the time, until you've got Three out of Four. Pretty much just gotta hope that those allies show up for you. Then you can start playing with Haus's Food Pill using jutsu... whatever the hell that was.

How do I not suck in the arena....

I have barely a 20% success average, which means I'd need 50+ fights in a single day to get the 10 wins for the bloodline thingy.

My trick is to always lead with Genjutsu, then use White Eye and play Taijutsu, and from there I just play whichever card I think I have more of that he doesn't and keep my last WE ace in the hole until we're both down to 1 move of each type. It really is kinda tricky. My win average isn't that good either, but recently I've been looking up the people I fight and they all have like 25+ permanent items and have been playing way longer than I have.

Somehow, I managed to fight yesterday's #1 Season 2+ player today in the NNW X__X
