Just found this thread, but been playing for a couple days now. I just wandered into a random village, so I won't be joining Nerds for now. Maybe in the future.

So far my team has been Terri, Mr Sandman, and Master P. Hope to go for Sp. Junin in a few days.

So,

I'm a level 32 Chunin (11, 11, 10) of the RedEye variety. I have the following permanent items:

Ninja Puppet
Soul Glove
Monster Mask
Helper Pin
Ninja Puppet
Swallowtail Butterfly

Can anyone recommend what else I might want to get? I'm in the process of doing the Timmy missions for the Sp. Jonin mission.

Also, do two of the same permanent items both affect you? (Or should I get rid of one of the ninja puppets?)

Permanent items don't stack, so you can either sell or give the spare to the village. Giving to the village is probably the preferred choice at this time too, since so many are looping and will be losing their permanent items. And there's lots of items you'll want to get, a ninja dog, giant fan, dog collar, and some other things.

I'm sure the answer to this question is no, but I just want to make sure. When a Jutsu says it needs a certain permanent item, does that item get consumed when you use the jutsu? I have so many xp saved up because I'm afraid of buying some of these jutsu and losing my hard earned permanent items.

P.S. I've been searching for days for a Soul Glove.

You don't lose the permanent item when used with a justu that requires it. You just need to -have- that permanent item for it to work.

I'd suggest reading the wiki to find missions and special items you might want to have.

Like trying to get reaper missions or the like.

(when is drift racing going to be an actual posibility?)

Soul Glove drops on certain C-rank missions (Pick up after a Reaper!), and even with White eye, it doesn't drop.

I don't like sparring Dag. He has a bajillion permanent items. Still good-ish exp/ap but just impossible to win

Yeah, I'm trying to become a Reaper, but I need a Soul Glove to complete it.

Red Rover, Spot, and Whiteeye make for easy item gathering >> Couldn't get the reaper items without them.

Got Red Rover, Got Whiteeye, only have 5 Dog Treats, so can't get Spot. I'm using Red Rover in my team, but none drops.

I'm just that damn unlucky.

Takes time, I got my six treats from getting the Timmy missions. Helps that the Eightball team is a decent one.
