Takes time, I got my six treats from getting the Timmy missions. Helps that the Eightball team is a decent one.

Well, after about 60 D-rank missions, and 130 C-rank missions, you'd think Red Rover would have found 6 Dog Treats by now. angry.gif

Nerdfury's pretty cool about letting you snag permanent items for quests if you need them. I just opened up the Reaper missions. smile.gif

Anyone check out the Ninja Lounge in the Party House?
Rauros2008-05-21 20:22:59
Yeah, but I try to avoid it. The interface is bulky and hard to read.
Daganev2008-05-22 16:05:36
Some one needs to explain this to me.

I became a ninjitsu sp jonin, I have a range of 1-13 and +3 str and +1 success.

I tried a bunch of random B missions and kept winning (mostly tai and gen, my tai and gen have a range of 1-10 and I kept using chakra to get my range up to 11, but still kept winning) (I won 14/16)

I decided I should save myself some chakra and use nin focused missions instead. I won 4/25 missions. Using as many chakras etc as possible... On missions that took nin + gen or Nin + tai, I won the gen or tai area but lost the nin... Is this some sort of cruel joke!?!?
Kharaen2008-05-22 16:08:41
I find the B missions tough :/ I'm going to try and get the range and strenght items in the shop before trying them some more.
Daganev2008-05-22 16:11:56
Yes they are tough,... but shouldn't I have an -easier- time with the missions that focus on my focus in which I got a +2 range in, not easier on the missions that I DON'T have the +2 range in?
Kharaen2008-05-22 16:17:35
Just means that you can DO more of the nin missions then the others, because you have the range for it. Some tai and gen missions should be impossible, if you have the base 10 range for them.

It's like when you first start out, you have a range of 1-10, but I doubt you were regularily doing tens. The difficulty is much more intense now, is all. Failing is very possible.
Daganev2008-05-22 16:21:38
I don't think you are understanding..

NO bonus: Win: 14/17 82% Succcess!

+2 Bonus: Win 4/25 16% Success!
Kharaen2008-05-22 16:25:20
What team are you using? Maybe that's part of the problem. The Eightball team has +1 str, which may be useful to you, or Who Let the Dogs Out with +2 successes. I can't tell you anything really then that you just have bad luck with the dice. It's completely random :/

It's kind of like my bad luck with the Party Wheel. Maybe you'll have a better day tomorrow.
Daganev2008-05-22 16:31:43
Overall, I have +5 levels, +4 str, and +2 success on all my rolls. Obviously I'm just being unlucky, but I'm wondering if the game has some joke where they weigh the dice against your specialization. (it wouldn't surprise me) (like a hidden -4 to dice rolls)
Casilu2008-05-22 16:32:58
Nope, 'cause with The Redeye masters, I never lost a B-rank Nin mission.
Daganev2008-05-22 16:38:14
Woo, just got rover's mom after specializing in the tai missions (and neverl losing ofcourse) but now.. I've got this:

Teammates:

Wolfpack Bonus!
+1 Nin Range, +1 Nin Strength!

Current Bonuses:
Lvl Str Suc Rng
G: 2 3 0 1-11
N: 5 3 0 1-15
T: 5 1 0 1-11

Whats the bonuses of the redeye masters?

Daganev2008-05-22 16:39:00
Also, whats the best way to get dog treats now that I have the rover team set up, c-rank missions, or does it not matter if I win, etc?
Amarysse2008-05-22 17:25:46
Daganev: Rolls are funky, sometimes. Orti regularly beats me in spars for some reason, despite lower levels, strengths, items, etc. blush.gif
Daganev2008-05-22 18:00:21
Yeah, I just had a mission Nin dif:12 success:7

My rolls, I got 6 15s and nothing else over 10. (out of 16 rolls) (not a single, 11,12,13, or 14) I'm starting to think that too high of range is actually a bad thing.

Bonus for the overall team is +2 nin strength and free redeye.

K-dog gives the ability of one free success and Emosuke gives another +1 strength.

What items do you have to get you to roll 15s?!

Zomg. Hax! tongue.gif

The team I've been using is Team Sandy (Master P+Mr Sandman+Terri). It gives some pretty good Str bonuses, which really make the difference when going for those high difficulty missions.

I did some math comparing your current team set up (I assume you're using Red Rover and Rover's Mom), and here's the numbers I've come up with:

Current Bonuses:
Lvl Str Suc Rng
G: 6 4 0 1-10
N: 3 5 0 1-13
T: 3 4 0 1-10

As you can see, you have a 2 less Nin Range and Levels, but +2 str, which means you'll hit those 13's a lot more. Strength is much more important than levels. Also beefs up your Gen and Tai.

P.S. As an added bonus, Mr Sandman regains you 5 stamina if you lose a mission.

Hmm, that looks pretty good. (ofcourse I won't be able to handle many b missions with only a range of 10) but I'll try that out once I get my 6 doggy treats.
