Ugh, I hated doing B-ranks as a Special Jonin. Having a base range of 12 in only one stat hurt.
But now I'm Jonin, and all is well.

Those are my stats right now, and I've only got the first Reaper Mission available for my special missions. Only reaper item I have access to right now is the Heck Butterfly. I can't take my exam because NerdRage is still waiting to build stuff and enter the war.

What to do? Just spar and train as per normal?

I have 6 arena wins, with 200 points, and 6000 gold. I can buy 1 with 150 arena points, and buy 3 more entries for 4500 gold, but I'd need to win every single one which is unlikely. Ugh.

I'm about to start focusing on the reaper missions, they seem to have really good payouts in the higher levels, so if you are stuck, you might as well go for the ripper missions until you max that out, then if you can't do the special jonin by then, switch towns for a bit. (But they should be in the war by then)

Still can't do reaper missions... still lookin for a Soul Glove.

I know, I know, done the mission a few times, tried whiteeye every time, but the chance must be very very low. I might consider spending the 100000 xp and getting Epic Dog Urination Technique.

I don't get how to level up. fun tho

Each mission is either (at least) taijutsu, ninjutsu or genjutsu based. Each mission results in XP for that jutsu type. Once that jutsu XP gets higher than the a certain number (visible on your main character info pic thing) then you'll go up a jutsu level. Your level is the combined number of all of your jutsu levels, unadulterated by permanent items and the like.

Who let the dogs out team, and whiteeye should be enough to get the soul glove. I got soul glove, heck and swallowtail butterflies with only those, the first time taking the missions.

I'll try spending a day's worth of stamina for it again, but if I don't get it this time, I'm gonna go for the Hairpin Piece instead.

You can go for the hairpin pieces simultaneously, they're gotten in two different ways!

I'm still trying to get a third reaper item... have Heck Butterfly and Soul Glove, and I've been trying to get Swallowtail Butterfly but still no luck, and I have two Hairpin Pieces but need a third to get the hairpin...

In the Chunin exam, it says I have to get a bloodline... but the "How to play" says you can't get a bloodline until you get Chunin level or higher... This is confusing a crap >.< Halp Halp!

Yeah that was weird. When I just started and I had no idea what I was doing I randomly poking around and I got a bloodline. I read that there was a chunin requirement too so... yeah confusing.

According to the wiki it's a reward for beating the special mission Remember Your Past, which you can do now since you just have to be level 9+ apparently.
