Now that bards are mainly charismatic...

A tae'dae bard who sings long-winded songs that make no sense whatsoever and thinks he's the greatest bard to grace the basin.


Two ideas I thought of when making my charachter (but I decided I wasn't a god enough rper so I went simple):
- A faeling Celestine who undergoes a rite involving Raziela to transform her fae part into cheruby goodness. It would seem you can't do that anymore, but I spose you might be able to do a Nihilist faeling and get someone to kill you and feed your corpse to grgulu so you could become an impling. Depends on Mag's stance towards faelings though.
- A human who looks like a dracnari, and thinks they are a dracnari, but can't breathe fire, so they're human.

Also: Emo Tahtetso.

A half-illithoid, half-human cross over that has been born with no worm and has a soul, but has an innate desire to kill and maim that slowly becomes more intense over time. They would have a deep shame for their heritage, prompting them to want to hide it, as well as choosing to focus this desire on anything "soulless" in nature (so Celest/Seren membership is required), but ultimately becomes more 'thoid like in appearance as they kill more.

The paranoia factor would be very high, and depending on interactions you could eventually turn into a frothing anti-taint zealot fueled by inert urges based from that very source. Getting discovered by your "pure" city/commune mates could have a lot of potential too.

I think that's the only way I could play a human character.

*How's it work?*

This character would be extremely into gambling, and would probably have the Acquisitio enchantment. As for its wings, they'd probably look extremely out of place, something that the Faeling "won" in a gamble against a Trill. They'd be mainly influence-based, and have a tendency to take up any job that doesn't use their money, but makes them money. Very proud of both lines of their heritage, so probably has an ego problem (and a Napolean Complex)

I've actually recently thought up a really awesome background.

The equivilent of faeling, but with half-formed. So, somewhere in Doman's lineage is a half formed. (Not the Supernals or Demon Lords) I'm trying to decide if that's what I want to write the paper on changelings, and say that's where all changelings come from, or if Doman is special. I plan for him to discover it in deep meditation and suddenly become very bonded to the cosmic planes, focusing on them a lot, but still keeping loyalty to Water as an aqua

I've always liked the nazi like glommie who dosen't just say "Nothing matters but Glomdoring" but really means it.

Changelings come from over there, behind that rock. No, not that rock, the other one.

You could always just wait for him to write it, and then go write a long book about why his theory is complete bunk.

Just because he writes it, doesn't actually make it canon.

Sorry, Doman's word is law and all that.

Edit: I may also say changelings came from a very remote aetherbubble.
