Last person I saw live was Colin Meloy, I'm going to go see the Raconteurs next week. I also try to go to any local shows, I usually know one person in a band.
"still alive" is a funny funny song.

ah, my last show was...um maylene and the sons of disaster, and the devil wears prada at this local venue...before that was The Chariot and another time was the Dear Hunter. I used to know lots of ppl in local bands...lost the pulse of the local scene though. to many 12 year old kids at shows. blah, keeps me home.
can one of you post a link to 'still alive'? heard it mentioned before but never heard it.
as for PTH, obviously i'm a huge fan :]]]]]]
cant wait to see em on warped tour. woot! listen to their newest cd 'Fortress' constantly.
some other bands i've been really into this week are:
Poison the Well- all their cds, but LOVE versions
Dillinger Escape Plan

call it what you will, but its just a different form of expression. I dont understand how people can be REALLY into techno or trance but they are. For me heavier music just makes me feel pumped, gets my adrenaline flowing. I really like the time sig changes in these kinds of songs and the nasty destructive sound you cant really hear in any other type of music. I swear every three months my taste will switch from really heavy to really soft stuff. *Shrug*

he already told me my tastes were bad personally
apparently he is the music czar.
though he has yet to reveal 'good' music.
in other news i was fooling around on the piano and accidentally figured out Kanye Wests 'Stronger'!!!! well sort of...i was a half note off on the key, its apparently D#minor and i was using Dminor. I dont usually figure songs out myself to much so i was excited.
