Did you really two shot Elodres? Unless someone else was hitting Elodres while you were running I think this is a great example of why people complain about knights (in addition to monks). Though I can not honors Elodres at the moment so perhaps he/she is very low level? Though "The soul of Elodres swirls in the air like a sparkling whirlwind, then vanishes in a flash of chromatic colours." implies not.

One knight attack and one symbol were enough to kill Otem which also implies to me that he is very low level.

Honestly Ethelon should be the one posting here, all your log shows is you ran from a 2/3 fight to come back in time to see Ethelon win 1/3 against Talkan.

Talkan had stigmata up, which is what that was. Not sure what caused the leap in health unless thats demi regen + athletics regen which would be extreme

Ixion was using a damage weapon with probably 20 or more strength and damage runes I imagine against robe wearers. Desitrus and Geb can get about 2K or more per hit on most robes, so this shouldnt be shocking to you

A couple warriors have nice damage, yes. What you fail to see is other classes can do more damage without missing. I suggest you complain about those first.

Edit: yes I move around a lot.. Perhaps deathsight will show you why I barge/charge and move around quickly, and the obvious notion of splitting a numerically superior group up.

Ah yeah I knew what the Talkan line was, I was commenting on the almost instant 5k health burst with no healing affects.



I was not complaining, I was commenting on how your log does not show any skill on your end, especially no skill as it relates to killing talkan. It also shows no skill on your end with respect to killing Otem or Elodres. The log from Ethelon's point of view would be a different story though and far more interesting to read.

I also did not say that running was the wrong thing to do in that situation, only that you did and thus a portion of the fight against Talkan was missing and that you did not do anything to cause his initial death. I think I will add here that the only reason why you had the strategic option of running was because you are a demi-god knight. Without timestamps I have no real clue how fast your attacks were but Otem and Elodres had probably a 2 second window to see that your first attack took over half of their health and thus they needed to run or die. If you also had ~4k health Otem would have killed you.

Which is exactly why this is appropriate for this lame ass thread.

Ok I took the time to re-read the initial log. I agree that daevos did nothing worth talking about, at the same time it took Talkan a while to set up the kill. All other things being equal hitting an attack command twice is significantly easier than needing to do a dozen plus actions while in void. So right there Talkan's log shows more skill than your side of the fight you posted (again to be clear I am not commenting on Ethelon).

Whatever locked up Daevos was rather trivial, so as was pointed out the initial log is more of a comment on how bad Daevos fought than on how well Talkan fought. Still it also clearly shows how much longer it takes to pull off a kill for Talkan. If Daevos was locked up against a damage warrior such as you were acting in your log he would have been killed in less than 10 seconds. Was this just Talkan showing his lack of skill or just an example for why gaurdians are hard to play even when your opponent does not fight back?

So laugh all you want but honestly I think any fair observer can see a clear difference in effort between the two logs. It is a bit less clear that effort equates to skill, but clearly effort is required to show skill, and your log shows neither. I am sure a dozen monks or knights could post identical logs where they two-shotted people while I doubt the same is true for Talkan's log.

The best thing that came out of this thread is that every time Celina posts, I am right beneath her ..... (I only flaunt my epeen for her and her sig alone )

For a warrior to deal that kind of damage, they need to forge for 80-120 hours, blow lots of $$$$$ for runes, and bypass parry, stancing, rebounding and deal with natural missing.


I am 100% sure if a guardian could spend that much money increasing their damage, and have four different variables deciding whether they are going to hit or not, they would be able to two shot people.




P.s Ixion is a demigod.


P.s.s I doubt if Elodres is transcendent resilience and combat, which are necessary to deal with warriors. If he's not transcendent in either, you should watch what you post.
