I just read all of his posts and I don't see anything particularly scummy.. The suspicion of you is a bit weird, since your role doesn't seem terribly dangerous or mafia-like..
But I'm just not seeing what you think leads you to want to vote for him. (Though I note you're not voting for him, just talking about it)

This is what I'm talking about. Not just that he's suspicious of me, but the reasoning he used. It seems like scum reasoning he failed to think out properly when trying to reword it into town-looking reasoning.

Hm.. Yes I suppose the admission of you being a townie while still trying to force you into a roleclaim seems.. Sketchy. .
In the absence of any other targets I'll go ahead and stick my neck out and start the ball rolling.. I hope this doesn't come back to bite me later.

I just realized that Nejii's role is gay...
If you don't share my outrage about this, then Nejii already has you in his velvet grip. Want to know what the other hand is doing? Just use your imagination. You're probably picturing something pretty steamy, right? Maybe a filthy little scenario taking place in a bathroom stall of a TGIFriday's while your wife and kids unsuspectingly eat their chicken wings. And your gay fantasy just proves my point!
This is war people... and we're Americans. We don't just give up. We didn't give up in World War II against the Germans just because Nazism "felt good." Nejii's homosexual agenda is nothing more than appeasement. He's a sexual Neville Chamberlain. He wants us to lay down our arms and pick up rainbow-colored white flags. But we can't let him win our hearts and minds with his thighs and abs!
Now... not that I have anything against Nejii being gay.. I just don't like how he flaunts it. I'm perfectly fine with him choosing to be gay as long as he marries a woman and has kids like the rest of us. And if he has to flaunt it, there's a place for that: in the privacy of his own home. Which should be a jail cell.
The Biggest threat facing America today - next to socialized medicine, the Government, the Dyson vacuum cleaner and the recumbent bicycle- are gay people like Nejii wanting GAY MARRIAGES. it's like the Red Coats, Green Peace an the Yellow Peril combined. I call it... the Lavender Armageddon. And it's the biggest threat facing America today (see above).
Now, the Man-Hugger huggers out there are saying "Mary please! What about the large oil companies hiking gas prices? Surely that's a bigger threat than Gay Marriage." Yes, Oil prices are a problem, but consider this: who, other than oil companies and terrorists, wants to destroy our way of life? The Gays. Allowing Nejii to marry another man would be like strapping on a suicide vest with a matching cummerbund (Yes, gays, I know: it's vest OR cummerbund. Now do you see my point?).
As gay people are increasingly integrsted into society and accepted as friends and coworkers, there is a new threat looming on the horizon: The threat that we will forget to feel threatened by them. On this final battlefield, the greatest casualty of all may be our anger.
Thank you.

5. (This may get me lynched later): If I were a Mafia member and knew Shiri was not a mmeber of the Mafia and was doing these weird colors, I'd pop him first off, solely based on point 2. How long will Shiri last night roles unless a Guardian is protecting her every night?
By the way, this kinda jumped at me.

How am I supposed to take you seriously?
Silvanus2008-06-11 06:07:22
Sorry, I kind of forgot about this. I realized Shiri turned around a voting on me, but a few minutes after I posted I retracted my vote because I figured the investigator would investigate Shiri (but if Shamarah was the investigator (do we know?) then he investigated Arix, and are there two? A backup one?). Either way, we don't know what Shiri is, and she obviously has a role. I assumed Xavius was a clever man and made Shiri's role very strange, so I just straight out suspected him/her.
And the reason why I said it might get me lynched later is because the mafia would follow suit by them (but also bringing attention to Shiri's role, only one kill a night I'm going to assume the protector protected Shiri, and somebody tried to kill Shiri).
Anyways, yeah, I hadn't reallly said anything other then that post which I basically retracted a few minutes later. Notice how the only two people Shiri thinks that are suspicious are the people that voted for him/her? (Rika first, then me).

I think that's an interesting point and it bears further scrutiny. I'm gonna hold off on changing my vote for now, but.. We'll see.
As nice as it is to have more information, things still seem very jumbled and chaotic.
Shiri2008-06-11 06:11:45
Unfortunately no one investigated me. Maybe they just had different priority targets, but someone on bellators yesterday was talking about how they thought I might be one of those explodes-fatally-if-targetted people so that kind of fear might have been driving them off.
And both of you retracted your votes, btw, I just find the reasoning suspicious. Yours is much worse. There may be others if you want to bring them up.
Also, if someone tried to kill me and I was protected, I didn't hear about it, which isn't conventional. So I'm guessing either the mafia aren't convinced my role is anything important, or found someone they thought was -more- important, or were scared I'm being protected since I'm high-profile.
Or they're going for a specific position in the list.

So, let me get this straight. We may or may not get any further roles from lynched/killed people because Shamarah is dead? Makes things a lot harder..

I think that's a conclusion we shouldn't leap to based simply on the flavor text.

Hmm, Shiri, why is that last post different? You had been changing the color with each paragraph. This time they are all the same.

2. It doesn't matter as much as you seem to think?

Disagree. I think we should assume Shamarah was -an- investigator of some sort. But it's entirely possible he was dead-people-investigator-only. If he could do either, he'd have to be pretty silly to investigate a dead guy rather than a potential threat. So Rika's conclusion seems quite possible to me.
