Yeah.. the darker colours like purple and green are fine, but it's a completely different story when he uses the bright colours.
I wanna lynch him to save my eyes, but I have a gut suspicion he's pro-town.
Xenthos2008-06-13 12:06:23
Hm. So, it looks like we're at 6 votes for Galaphyrae now? I'm going to second Shiri's concern-- no more voting. With Casilu already voting, it may just take 8 actual votes to pull off a successful lynch... so we should wait a little bit for a claim at this point. (For that reason, I'm holding off on voting at this point)
Ayisdra2008-06-13 13:22:11
Same reason as stated about Casilu, my vote will stay as is. Once Duke roleclaims, if she (he?) does, I will change my vote accordingly for reasons needed.
Diamondais2008-06-13 13:56:46
I'll hold off on my vote for the moment because of the risk of ninja-lynching someone before they role claim. Hopefully Duke gets around soon to speak.

I hate post counts being the reason for voting or not voting for someone. I do understand that Duke of Ess hasn't said anything, and yes, I think that's an issue, but for people like Revan, myself, and a couple others whose post counts were under 10, I don't know. Just seems weak to be a target just because you have a job or other obligations that prevent you from making 100 posts a day.
I'll be honest, Casilu's attitude is what's got me most suspicious. She seems awfully smug about her position, to the point where she's ignored all attempts at getting a real roleclaim out of her. Be convinced of what you like, but I'm keeping my vote where it is.

Are you suggesting the person with the double vote, if any, is possibly not Casilu?

Seven seperate people did vote for Duke, though.

It's also pretty weak to drag down everyone else with a lack of discussion though. Notice how we all went for the (posting) Silvanus first, but were at least convinced to let him be for the moment by his roleclaim, before resorting to taking out hiding people.
Casilu is being obnoxious about it, but that doesn't mean she's scum. She doesn't need to roleclaim properly yet until she's under pressure due to voting. Doing so would give the scum an advantage. This has been explained a few times before so I don't think there's a particularly good reason for this accusation...

Seven people, including Casilu, voted. That's 8 if Casilu has a double vote. 9 to lynch, so we were one short.
Where did you get that impression from?
Unknown2008-06-14 01:42:58
Harsh! Jump on the coder because they're all busy working and get lost in their console. Of the few really active posters, there honestly isn't all that much to go on for evidence. Casilu throws out a blurb and we all pick someone else to dogpile. My gut isn't even pointing me at anyone and the only vague suspicion I could manage is still Furien who doesn't make much noise, either. I am reasonably justified by now that Shiri does belong to something other than the New American World Order, but I would doubt that he is spy-material unless the colours are to communicate with the other spies during the day. Or his fellows of the Gay Mafia. They are EVERYWHERE.

You're supposed to roleclaim, i.e describe your name and function, when you're about to be lynched. If it's convincing you won't be lynched.
Not sure if posting once is traditionally a good reason to call off a "he isn't posting enough" bandwagon though. Maybe it is. We don't want to roleclaim too much and give the scum more information than they need. I guess as long as Galaphyrae is stirred back into action it's good enough.
Now, what's next? Unvote: Galaphyrae. We'd better decide on something to do before the deadline though. Anyone have any better suspicious people than Casilu?
Rika2008-06-14 01:54:58
Unvote: Duke of Ess
Vote: Casilu
I still find Silvanus and Casilu a bit suspicious. Flipped a coin, and the result was Casilu.

Casilu is like the main person we have a good reason to believe is town - she predicted the use of an ability which is ordinarily not given to scum. The other person we have a claim from (Silvanus) made it fairly convincing.
The main reason I keep hearing for people to lynch her is that she's being obnoxious about it. This is a great way to sac a town member for suboptimal reasons. This keeps being explained and a bunch of people are doing it anyway over "gut feelings" instead of good reasons. That being the case, I think I'm changing targets to one of these people. Rika posted right above me and had that thing I mentioned going on earlier (pg. 1-2), so let's Vote Rika.
That being said: Casilu, stop being obnoxious about your power, teasing people isn't helping anything.

Vote Shiri
Because your colours are even more obnoxious than Casilu's teasing. Also, the fact that we may not get any more roles from dead people already makes this game out of the ordinary, so it may very likely be that the scum got a double-vote skill.
