Well, seeing as Shiri wants us to vote for someone to find out more, sure.

Vote: Shiri

Pfft. Preferably inactive people so that they speak up! (Actual inactive, not just "probably asleep" inactive.)
Rika2008-06-08 07:45:25
Yep, that's what I'd say too if I was out to kill everyone else but wanted to hide the fact.

To get a roleclaim out of Shiri now for the colors would be a good idea, but...

There is probably weird roles out there that might do something similar to that, like include some word in every one of their posts or I dunno, it seems weird. Best to just wait at least x amount of hours till everybody has said something
Rika2008-06-08 07:50:13
What? You're not even going to attempt to defend yourself? dry.gif

I couldn't even tell if you're being serious or not! I thought you were messing around. If you were serious: Unvote Exeryte, Vote: Rika. Avoiding bandwagoning people, being pro-discussion and putting pressure on inactive people first is not suspicious by any definition of the word. doh.gif

Unvote: Shiri

Psh, you know I was joking. Besides, I wouldn't want to lynch you so quickly. Assuming you were evil, you'd be a great challenge, and I like challenges. If you're innocent, then why kill you at all?
Shiri2008-06-08 08:02:19
Sudden reversal! Do we buy it? Not yet! Vote stays. I'll switch back to Exeryte if everyone else isn't interested though.

18 active, 10 to lynch
Rika2008-06-08 08:07:01
But I tease you all the time. sad.gif And you know I will probably be quite active, which means you are contradicting your strategy of forcing inactives into activity?
Rika2008-06-08 08:07:44
Oi! Whoever works for Menthos is a spy. Kill them.

While "putting pressure" on innactive people may sound good in theory, it doesn't really mean anything. The game just started. We're a few hours in and we already have 3 pages! I dont think that is a valid excuse to vote for someone until we are at least a few days in. Instead of blind voting, people should looking for all things suspicious. Shiri is blatantly the most suspicious person here, what with him being a rainbow and all. He could have one of those roles that draws so much attention to itself it punishes anyone who votes for him with death or something. Like a jester (a role who tries to get people to vote for him and then wins when he is lynched). Silvanus's suggestion was interesting, hinting that the different colors might be correlating to certain people, but I cant find a pattern.
Rauros2008-06-08 08:34:57
Just throwin in a post to show I'm here. Soon as I get some more sleep, I'll make a better post.

Also, a certain someone has an affinity with the word 'weird'.
Silvanus2008-06-08 08:38:31
What kind of person would use their role as an example?

That's wei... dumb (Gotcha!)

It sounds good in theory and it is good. Of course we don't have any inactive people yet. But we had two last game that are still playing this game. They're good targets to start on (i.e better than anyone else.) That's why I'm saying not to go for all the others that haven't voted: they're just asleep. They might end up lurking later but we'll get to that if it comes up!

Meanwhile, all this dubiousness about "colours being suspicious" smells mostly like random paranoia rather than "scum jumping on an excuse" to me, but if it persists it's probably the latter unless there's a good reason involved. And btw, if I'm a jester or exploding person (or whatever) there's not much point discussing it as if it makes me suspicious...you sure don't do us any good that way.

P.S Not saying anything about a pattern or lack thereof in my colour habits, but be careful of overanalysing!

Vote: Furien

Jesting about salvation in the frozen north is really hard to swallow at a time like this. There's work to be done if we're to bring about a utopion technological society and put down the politicians and their pork-barreling. The first thing to do now, though, is send the spy to Canda in a pine box.
Ayisdra2008-06-08 13:48:29
Three pages already and the game just started. I will hold my vote until we have more useful info. All we really know is Shiri is posting in colours probably because of his role. But is that role going to help us or not?
Shamarah2008-06-08 14:05:31
I propose we lynch Arix today. Last game he proved a serious liability to the town, trying to speedlynch and doing random votes in the endgame. I don't know if he's scum or not, but he isn't helpful either way, so I will Vote: Arix.
