As Othero's post is distinctly lacking drama, your moderator is going to bed. Try not to lynch anyone thorougly in the next seven hours, eh?

As for the instance in Bellator, Visaeris is telling the whole story and the truth for the most part. I do what I do to protect the town, nothing else. (The 'moron' thing hurt my feelings, take it back, sniffle :<)
As for Revan saying, 'We should vote for Casilu' next or w/e I didn't hear that comment. Casilu is extremely suspicious and I can say without hesitation she is probably in almost everyone's short-suspect list. Assuming Revan WAS mafia, and he intended the comment towards Visaeris (who you also have to assume is mafia if you take the comment in the implied manner that Visaeris and Revan are mafia) as mafia talk, why would they vote lynch someone who is already such a big suspect in the town's eyes? That makes no sense. The comment was obviously intended as general town-speak for who they should MMIRU for the good of the rebels.

It seems like it would make sense for mafia to talk in public about vote lynching someone who appears to be a town target. It makes them look like town. They would not talk in public about wanting to vote lynch someone who appears to be town.

And I agree with Othero's feelings about Diamondais's role. It puts her in a position of being immune to lynch. I'm kind of uncomfortable with that. She should give us a proper roleclaim with all the fixins' if she wants to maneuver herself into such a position.

Yea, maybe if Revan was a strategic mafia genius. But he isn't.
Visaeris is smart but not that smart. You make a good point though.

That's what I'm thinking too. Name, exactly role, what she did, the lot. She's kind of mumbled out various things to those effects so she obviously feels semi-comfortable in doing so.

Also I thought Xenthos implied that Revan's comment was a mischan?
A "smoking gun" if you will.

Diamondias had no reason to roleclaim aside to point out that Rika was telling the truth (if she roleclaimed properly).
Also, I believe the most suspicious thing to go on is the colors. Rika, Duke and myself all roleclaimed, all who voted for Shiri and all who had Shiri lead the lynchsquad against them.

Your points seem to have no correlation with each other. A brief summary of them:
Rika votes me for suspicious reasons, apparently as a joke. It looks suspicious (apparently to a large amount of people.) I start a lynch, then unvote when she roleclaims, since I'm not sure whether to believe her.
You vote me for even WORSE reasons, apparently due to ineptitude rather than malice. It looks suspicious (apparently to a large amount of people.) I start a lynch, then unvote when you roleclaim, and you get away with it.
Duke of Ess doesn't post anything. Exeryte starts a lynch, which a few people get on and then drop once Duke starts, you know, posting. Didn't even roleclaim yet AFAIK. If s/he did, point me out the post please.
Colours aren't suspicious, we've been over this. Colours are colours. Scummy or muddled posting is suspicious. Hence Revan and Furien being up for consideration. Balizar is also up there MAYBE for that weird thing between him and Visaeris. I kind of want to see if Xenthos managed to record that.
However, I too have no idea why Diamondais roleclaimed...but then I don't get why Casilu "roleclaimed" either. I suppose they're trying the same gambit as Thoros last game: we have bugger all to go on so let's at least start making things clearer. Whether that's a good idea in Diamondais' case or not is left up to the imagination.

Ah, forgot Ayisdra and Silvanus. Total wildcards in my book.

I was tired, not thinking and feeling a bit guilty Rika got lynched on my last vote. Sure, it's suspicious, but the semi-role claim was an honest mistake. I can't get any more specific about why I did it than that, plus add in pressure to explain myself..

I'm going to have to go back and refer you to this post and the post it's quoting. Without making yourself more clear than you were last night and telling us the info we're missing (just think of it as summarising, if you want) people are bound to be skeptical because it does put you in a position of not being lynchable which could obviously go wrong if your explanation would otherwise be flawed.
Rauros2008-06-15 13:28:20
I'm glad we possibly have some kind of investigator now, I just feel sorry for the doctor not being able to protect anyone else that might have a useful role.
Diamondais2008-06-15 13:29:18
Fine I suppose. Just need a moment to check over the PM.

I am Diana Keating, the Neural Interface Specialist. I'm of the rebal group, believe in freedom, equality and prosperity through technology. I especially hate the government.
In a previous life I was an expert on mind-machine interfacing, and some of my previous prototypes have actually been wired to my brain. This just gives me hightened sensory perception, but it's best only on hearing. I can also plant a set of remote ears to extend my range of hearing, and I did this on the first night on Shiri because I was curious about what someone so colourful and right out and out there would be doing at night. Shiri was entirely paranoid that night and set up security camera's around himself, either that or he liked the look of himself! ( ) and then he removed them during the day. We strapped Arix into the machine, and I've been looking over him since. Then Shamarah died and it seemed I needed to step up my research and learned I'd be able to scan for people's identity and personality as long as they were stapled, hence my comment I'd rather Rika stapled then dead. I can't do anything about the dead, they have no brain functions.

Ok, she's definitely telling the truth, though I wish she hadn't said what I was doing (my fault for asking ). No I'm not explaining what exactly the point of that was or anything related until I absolutely have to.
I guess this makes Diamondais some kind of policeman + backup death-investigator, which is a hell of a lot of power in one role. She's absolutely going to need doctor protecting.
UNLESS you meant by that that you can't do investigations on live people anymore, only stapled head analysis. That would suck, but ok. And you'd still need doctor protecting. So do I at this point, but oh well.

Oh yeah, just in case no one else speaks up before I go to bed:
Vote: Revan.
Diamondais, given the choice between live analysis and stapled analysis you should definitely go for the former, try and catch us a scum to lynch rather than finding out who we already lost. If you can do both that's even better though.

As far as I'm aware, I can still plant ears, however it seems more important to scan the Stapled people.
And yes, your fault for asking me and hounding me since last night.

Wait, and paranoid? That means the paranoid one Rika investigated was probably me too. Wish she'd told me though. Gah. I hope we have two doctors or a very lucky roleblocker.
