Read my previous posts. I'd rather not lynch, but Shiri convinced me of the need for it. In theory, the majority of the playerbase is destined to die, so it may as well be on our terms taking shots in the dark and using the lead time we have over scum.
The sham thing might be a compelling point, but on the other hand your posts kind of annoy me, and I'm willing to admit that bias

1. Not my fault! Deal with it.
2. You don't know that at all, actually. There are vanillas with post restrictions for this kind of reason.
3. Unnecessary roleclaims are bad for town as they give the mafia an actual target (if, as you suspect, I have a town role that does something). Considering you then in point 5 talk about how mafia are going to want to target people with roles that do something...
4. Um, what? Town needs lynches. Of COURSE mafia want to lynch the wrong people since the town has to lynch, and SKs don't care who is lynched, but that doesn't prevent townies needing them! Wanting to lynch isn't a comment on -anyone's- allegiance (though not wanting to lynch is, as that benefits scum only.)
5. Right. ...so you want to help the mafia by killing their targets before they have to get around to it?
