So I would like to hear what everyone thinks a good race would be for a bard. PvE, PvP, anything-v-anything.

Not unless you want to capitalize on the balance bonus for Tarot-flinging, but, since I've never been a Tarot user bard before, I don't know how that would compare in holding up that offense as an Aslaran as compared to a Viscanti Glamourist.

Tarot sucks for bards. Glamours, even though it's been nerfed to death, is still a powerful skillset. Illusoryself, Maze, maelstrom. Tarot is nice for aeon...bards can't use aeon really. Tarot also has some nice utility like healing and catacombs...but they aren't really worth losing glamours.
