I may be wrong on this, but I think there is a certain part of the day where it will appear (incorrectly) to be night indoors. Also, that method requires you to take the initiative to type 'time,' in which case couldn't you have just as easily typed 'adroitness' to check? I guess one is longer than the other, but let's assume aliases of equal length.

Oh, you're right. I was having a hard time interpreting the zmud code. If I understand it correctly now, that'll only activate the defense at midnight rather than at nightfall.

I'm curious, have any of these issues been addressed? I don't particularly care about the changes themselves, but I'm wondering how likely stuff like this is to get fixed if everyone agrees it would be fair.

You know, maybe Truth should just take a flat number of absolute points out of insanity? Say if highly neurotic is represented by 1000 points, for example, and sociopathic is represented by 1600 points, just have Truth take away 800 points. For the sociopathic basher, which is what you would see in various events, etc, the total amount of insanity would be halved, just like now. For the people who rarely bash themselves into sociopathic behaviour, the ability would nullify nearly all their insanity: permitting it to be useful in purging most of their insanity, so that they could bash some more again. Bear in mind that the admins are not going to go for 100% insanity removal per month (in which case Magnagora would dominate insanity events without question) or 50% per Lusternian day (which is basically going to declare that astral insanity no longer affects Magnagorans, if stacked correctly).
