Guardian thinking about reincarnation.

As is, I'm a Lucidian Nihilist.

My first question is, how much does intelligence actually effect the damage cosmic fire does?

And secondly, what are the suggest races for reincarnation? I remember seeing someone talking about becoming a Taurian Aquamancer and doing great. What would the possibility be of that working out for a Guardian?

Thanks.

Not sure exactly to what extent cosmic fire damage is affected by int, but it tends to be rather weak anyways. In my celestine days, I never got damage kills as much as instas, though I guess Nihilists have a better chance of getting a damage kill then Celestines, with omen and wrack if thats been made usable yet.

Taurian and loboshigaru are decent choices if you want to be tanky and can pull off instakills well, but your damage is going to suck and bashing will be slow and tedious.

Humans are always worth considering, I was a human Celestine, worked out much better then merian.

First question: Tertiary?

Some say tarot is based on speed, they'd say go Aslaran, I say it's more based on timing and I say go Viscanti for most races due to they make great tanks and have the ability to provide wonderful booths known as Domoth. Suck in charisma department but I don't know hwo much Astrology or hexes use them, personally.

The most successful Nihilists have been speed races. The most successul Celestines have been tanky races.

Silvanus is half right, I think. Nihilist is about timing...but you also have about 45 seconds to lock someone down so speed is certainly a factor.

I'll be going Viscanti just cause Domoths are stupid, and the speed races got sodomized with the nerf stick. I don't expect to be terribly successful.

I've found Faeling to be pretty good, if you don't mind the squish factor.

The minor extra speed isn't realy a factor. It's the stats, elixir bonus, faster herb balance and forest regen which allows for sip-free putre in forests with mercy that make faelings worthwhile for Nihilist.

Here are the nighttime stats for an undead faeling nihilist, discluding fortuna and incuding a con platter. Spheres will make it better:

You could also get size 1 naturally for fast writhing, if you want to.

Size no longer affects writhing.

I suggest illithoid.

Viscanti with putre is beastly when it comes to physical tanking
