Nope.
It appears there are little to none opportunities for banner houses to gain family honour. As far as I can tell, I only pinned down two: duels and prestige books. They cannot earn honour from offering (can't select a patron), holding positions (need to align for that), village influencing (need to align for that), etc. They also can't align or select a patron as mentioned which pretty much is the basic requirement for any honour gaining at the moment.
There's little chances at losing honour too but it seems pretty dull. So how about we do some brainstorming again for possible small additions to means of gaining family honour?
All in all, the system looks great so far. Even if BH's can't do much on their own, just getting another BH to pledge to them suffices to almost bump them to GH and that is where the fun begins.

I'm sure there are people out there who won't mind and like to play the servitude and loyalty card being perpetually below whoever it is they follow, but more ways would be nice.

Yeah...now if only the whole "honour" thing worked at all, it might be worthwhile looking into.
