No, I'm not taking one right away. Just want to figure things out beforehand.
If you knew in advance that you'd be unable to access the realms for a period of time that might lead to weapons, armor, instruments, and other equipment becoming rotted, what preparations would you make? Selling, donating, storing, whatever.

Sell off everything that's going to decay before you get back.

Find someone who has a cabinet and rack, or if not, get your own cabinet and rack from an artisan. That'll preserve your robes, clothes, weapons, armor, shields, and musical instruments for as long as the furniture itself lasts.

The guild's getting a rack, Cam. Just ask Eliron or I in-game to set it up now that Amarysse () has the design ready.

Or, if for sme odd reason I know you or an alt, friends are always welcome to leave stuff in my cabinet/rack/chests, under lock and key.

Ok, there is a way to store stuff. Excellent. Thanks for all the offers, by the way. Shaddus, you do know one of my alts, so if he ever gets his gear together again he may visit you.
