I'm looking forward to this. I was a big Diablo junkie, although never really got as much into Diablo II. I remember trying to play the Necromancer and him being pretty terrible (since any self-respecting monster would slaughter your minions instantly). I hope the Witchdoctor doesn't face the same issue, but he does look cool in theory.

I think they fixed that, and having a skeleton army is now a viable tactic. I think.

Was it so bad before? I got pretty far through using mainly skellies (I got over of D2 before I got him to the end).

Last time I played, skeletons were killed in one hit on Mount Arreat. Maybe I just didn't have the right build, but they were worthless. Now, if there was a recent patch, maybe they might be viable.

No patches for me. crying.gif It was a while ago so I can't remember how I built him, but I was following a pretty particular guide. I'll see if I can find it.

they gave them more health/damage but took away the massive amounts you could get.
Rakor2008-07-03 07:40:57
Yeah apparently now you can only get three of the warriors and three mages, I'm trying out a necro build. They don't die as easily either, though, which is good.
Daganev2008-07-03 15:30:58
What do you mean now?

DII is still playable?
Rakor2008-07-03 16:04:29
Yeah? If you like that sort of game and don't mind the synergies (which seem to have put off a lot of people) it's still pretty fun.

In fact if you look on Gamefaqs it's in the top ten most visited section.

Looks like plenty of people're getting nostlagic!

:Martha Stewart: I find that the green contrasts with the red quite nicely, sort of a Christmas motif. I really enjoy it.

Wow. The game was announced what, 2 weeks ago, and people are QQing already. Good riddance to them I say.

Go away from my game, Real Is Brown fanatics! But, actually... do sign your funny little petition - that's SO gonna happen. Blizzard people at WWI admitted themselves, that they remembered Diablo 1 and 2 as pretty dark and monochromatic, but then they actually replayed the games again and found them surprisingly, almost disturbingly colorful. As for over-the-top models... you're saying Diablo 2 didn't have oversized weapons and shoulders? You sure we played the same game, with the same Barbarian?

Short version: while whiners QQ, I will enjoy the thoughts of playing a game that, for the first time in Blizzard's history since the Lost Vikings, allows you to play a character who is not only powerful, but FEELS powerful as it fights through hordes of monsters, like some kind of crazy epic hero that it, in fact, is.

I'm saying it because he/she is pretentious. Besides, looking at the Witchdoctor, "it" seems an appropriate word to use.

Well yes, but we allready know that you like all games turning into wow, even if they arnt' computer games.

You seem to really enjoy the idea of all games looking and playing the same as eachother.
Unknown2008-07-14 17:31:50
Well... there goes my resolve to never again have a windows partition on my computer. GG Blizzard, you've melted my principles in the solvent of pure hack and slash lust. dribble.gif
Unknown2008-07-14 17:54:26
Haha, like you nerds aren't going to buy the game anyways. tongue.gif

Way to ignore my point and focus on baseless assumption instead.

Actually... I'll just start ignoring your posts altogether. Easier that way.
