I find it incredibly frustrating when people are asked repeatedly to answer what I think is a simple, reasonable question, and just keep refusing to do so, either by skirting the issue or ignoring it completely. That, more than her roleclaim, is what kept my vote on her.

Karnagan's battered and ripped body is lying splayed-out on the ground, eyes gazing in wonder at nothing at all, a stupid smile on its decaying face - obviously a victim of the horrendous tactics of the Care Bears.

Karnagan was the SMOOZE (witch seeker/roleblocker).



And Exeryte seems to be missing - or so you think, until someone happens to discover a very squashed, very dead newt who looks suspiciously like him.

Exeryte was MOOCHICK (jack-of-all-trades).



It is now day 2. With 22 alive, it's 12 to lynch.

Oh, that was convenient, I had Karnagan roleblocked last night, which may or may not have mattered depending on if the witches found him.

So...two mafia groups. The witches "recruiting" a hiding member is a device I've seen used for mafia before, I think to get a cop. I'm going to go ahead and guess at about 3-4 for each, including Karnagan, so that's about 6-7 left out of 22. Given that they can apparently kill each other we have at least a little wiggle room.

That said, the witches could also be a cult, which would be ugly. Too bad the retarded gnome dude didn't last, the 1x vig could have come in handy.

Anyway, starting the day off with a Vote: Jigan because of his suspiciousness yesterday.

Also keep in mind Lorick, Sarrasri, and Myrkr have said very very little. They need to say something of substance or they're up for lurking charges.

Also, on the subject of Casilu, any idea what happened there? Was that another player intervening, or an automatic reaction to Casilu's death? If it's the latter, she's probably a real pony, but I don't get why she would have BSed about the hiding-in-the-forest thing if that were the case. If it's the former, either the pony king's diplomat is playing badly or she might be part of a scum group that has that as a one-off power or something (and it was a fake letter. I don't know.) Either way, I'm not ready to lynch her again just yet in case A) it doesn't work or she's innocent.

Either Casilu is a governor in which case we have to lynch because she lies, or some idiot blew his (most likely) limited use governer on her terrible roleclaim. I'm honestly tempted to lean towards relynching either way, to be frank. The fact that some fool was stupid enough to interfere the first time doesn't precisely change the reasoning and logic behind the first lynch.

Hmm. Interesting. Shayle's suspicions about Karnagan were proven to be a good choice. Perhaps the suspicions of Jigan were right too then, but we can't be certain. Not sure about Casilu's non-death..seems odd but it may have saved us from lynching a pony. Still, at this time, I'm not sure who to be voting for. Also, why did Shiri mention he had Karnagan roleblocked? What's with mentioning that only on the second day?

@Shiri: I'm not horribly lurky. Last day the 7 pages popped up in my time between sleep and waking up. I'm still learning too, but I'm trying to keep posting.

Personally, I think Casilu was saved via another pony, perhaps a pony princess if such a thing exists. Most likely a one shot, but then it seems like everyone is loaded down with powers in this game.

I haven't been lurking, that would be someone like Othero who reads and doesn't post.

And I'm still highly suspicious of Casilu, for never answering the questions last time. I guess I'll hold until more people are around and see if anyone has any insight after last night.

Casilu still seems a little suspicious to me, given her shady roleclaim and that convenient pardon. It seems possible that she's scum/cult, but has the ability to avoid a lynch that way.

Also, I'm not by any means a veteran of the game, but I somehow doubt that there would be one townie who is nigh-unkillable, especially if said player can avoid both lynches and nightkills - is there a survivor type that would be so extreme? Going by the wiki, a survivor is a "lone player who wins if s/he is alive when any faction achieves their win condition.. occasionally s/he may be nightkill-immune or have some other power designed to help him/her survive to the endgame.

Add this to the observations that it isn't likely that there would a skill with the two options of benefit/no-benefit every night, and the pardon, which might or might not be of Casilu's own making (no prior claim of such a skill).. I don't know. Something feels wrong.

A straight answer would be nice! I'll be withholding my vote until such an answer - or as it may be, no such answer - manifests.

Have to randomly throw this out there- pardons can be forged, I guess. Remember Dag's illusion ability from last game?

Admittedly, the pardon seems too authentic to be an illusion. Hmm.
