Why would you get a choice at all then if you can just use the same ability every night? Baloney I say. Hiders usually have a choice on who they will hide behind/or some variation there of. I think your roleclaim is only partly true, and for that you must die.

Yes, I hide in the forest, so unless we have Lumberjack Bear about, I don't have much to worry about.

Also I find it pretty amusing and suspicious how quickly Karnagan bought that horrible roleclaim.
Karnagan2008-07-04 21:56:05
Balizar, think about it... how can Baby Lickety-Split seriously be an enemy force? Maybe there is some kind of condition to Casilu's role, but Casilu is smart in not revealing that they can only use it once, or end up weakening someone else by using it. Either Casilu is telling the truth or they are one REALLY smart liar. Besides- given that this character is apparently a big part of the movie, and that Shamarah's knowledge of My Little Pony can (charitably) be assumed not to extend THAT far, only another person making the same roleclaim could really be the Baby.

Think about it.
Why would she be given a night ability where she does nothing but do the same thing every night? Its an automatic-non target? Ummm no. Not only is that complete hogwash its probably a sad attempt at avoiding a nightkill. Kill the witch.

I know I'm going to end up saying this a lot, but- I was a boy when I was 8, and therefore am totally unprepared to deal with MLP canon. If I can find it from about five seconds of Googling, I'm inclined to believe it. Casilu's selected a very specific name, so unless we get an "I'M SPARTACUS" moment, I don't think they are lying.

I'm inclined to listen to her explain how it works. For now. If Casilu's next post ain't a good one, I'll be voting with you, Bali.

Quit being a pseudo intellectual.
Any experienced mafia player will tell you how HORRIBLE that claim is and it just REEKS of cult.
Mafia 101 for the inexperienced:
1. Night actions are usually a CHOICE
2. Night actions are not "either do this, which is nothing but a benefit, or do nothing at all"
3. Mafia/Cult tend to issue roleclaims that make them immune to lynches or nightkills.
thanks for playing.

Hrm, I agree with B a L i to a point, it felt like that roleclaim wasn't complete or totally truthful.
So, I'll leave the vote as is unless we find something else particularly suspicious.

I'm sorry, but Casilu's response just isn't acceptable to me. Not only did she roleclaim without being asked, citing what is apparently a very bizarre ability since she can just do the same thing repeatedly and never be targetted at night... She also completely ignored the requests several people made to explain what she was thinking re: her statements about Jigan and Shiri. Something definitely seems wrong there.

Dude, I'm pretty sure deciding whether or not to hang Baby Lickety-Split is one of the more up moments in the history of Mafia. That said- I think you make a good set of points.

That's a lynch, at 13.
Casilu2008-07-04 22:04:47
It's a choice, so would there be some point for me not to hide in the forest. It makes me feel as though there may be some positive role, a reason for me not to hide in woods. Or, it may have some affect I'm not aware of, I suppose I'll find out tonight.
Amarysse2008-07-04 22:05:43
I think your count is off, Vis.
Karnagan2008-07-04 22:06:32
Yup, the count on Casilu is 11. You unvoted, Visaeris, and so did Rika. Otherwise, we'd have a lynch.
Unknown2008-07-04 22:09:27
Also like to point out that Baby Lickety-Split is one of the FIRST ponies listed on the my little pony wiki. So basically she didnt really search to hard for a good pony name.
Amarysse2008-07-04 22:09:28
Casilu, unless you really aren't worried about a lynch (in which case it seems a pretty safe bet you're scum of some variety), I'm going to ask again that you explain why you changed your story about Jigan and Shiri. It was suspicious enough on its own, but the fact that you refuse to respond even when directly asked does not help your case.

I let the roleclaim sway me but Balizar points out some good points and Casilu is too sly by far..
