I currently possess a copy of the Palside 2 system and I have all the text imported into scripts. Each time that I start an arena fight or even get a single hit from lot's of spam like afflictions or a monk hit , would result in auto-lag. I would try to even talk during this lag and it would come up like 5 seconds later. Is there something I am doing wrong? because I know some top fighters who use this.

I thought Palisade didn't have monk curing or any of the later ones? Don't know about the lag but I don't know if lagging stems from the system if you don't have the triggers for anything.

This is actually the most recent palside. Palside 2 , I think it has everything installed including monks and bards but I am not 100 percent sure.

Palisade 2.0 has monk curing. I use it. It's a nice system.

Occasionally it'll lag me out too, though I think part of it is my connection.

and yet , I don't have an answer. This is actually the same problem ive had from day one when I bought my first system.

Yeah this is everytime it tries to cure something I will lag out and be a sitting duck until I am dead, or I hit pause and speed it up but by then it is usually over. Perhaps im installing it wronig?

My system is like that.

I've gone through and fixed a lot of bugs in Palisade to have better healing, you can't do the same if you want to be better? I suppose if you didn't act so stuck up about it I'd consider telling you what the problem is with that one. There are plenty more things to fix, though.

EDIT: And don't use the nowrap version, it's a lot slower than the normal one.

Heh, right because I said that if you weren't from Celest and I were from Mag, I'd totally tell you how to fix your system lag issues, but since that's a Magnagoran secret that if I were to tell you I'd be breaking laws and I don't want to get disfavoured for that. GG

system lag is where you cannot enter commands at all.

EG during combat spam you try to type or hit macros and they don't come out instantly.

If cmud is entering commands and you can do your thing but no text is being received from the mud, it's because your internet has aids.

I had little problem with Palisade lagging, except when I tried to use my wrapwidth 0 version. Others use the wrapwidth 0 version with no problems at all. Don't ask me what the difference in speed stems from, though. I guess you can ask Vathael, though he's never told me about any of the issues or fixes...

My CMUD system has far more speed problems, but I'm blaming Zugg for writing a bloated client in Delphi that doesn't have quite enough power and speed to do things the way I want to do them.

Hey, if you ask Zugg on the forums it's totally your fault for sucking at scripting. You and everyone else who uses CMUD to do more than linear trigger exp bots.

I know the majority of people that claim system lag with Palisade have the same problem I did. The system will start out fine but after a few stacked afflictions/wounds/etc it starts getting behind (i.e I had Thoros beat on me a bit to test it out and after a while I went to tell him "That's enough" and it didn't come out til 10 seconds later and I was still healing things up to a minute later because of it healing more than it should have due to the lag.) and it has to do with how the prompt is currently being handled.

I'm giving up and writing my own client (which I guess isn't really exactly giving up).
