Or cleave should only be raze/attack.
PS: Knights can do damage /and/ strip defenses geared against their abilities. So, there really is no common defense that costs them valuable offensive to remove, unless you count a few extra seconds tacked on. Blanknote, on the other hand, does not damage at all. "I'm going to eat earwort so I have a few extra seconds to heal that minorsecond's damage. Yay." vs "I'm going to rebound and shield so I can heal real quick... oh wait, I'm dead (or have less hp and increased wounds)." Ooooh, and I forgot to add this in too: + poisons!

Cleave can't raze/attack because you'll raze their shield and hit their rebounding or the other way round which would defeat the whole purpose of having cleave. And Zacc, the attack pattern you posted was quite unlike any bard I have ever fought. I doubt Nezha and co start off their pattern that way.

You don't have to eat earwort to heal minorsecond damage.. And you give a generalization of "warriors" having the ability to "cleave" when "blademasters" can't cleave! Cleave also hits reflections- does not go -through- them.

Doesn't blanknote... tack a few extra seconds on? While also stunning them so they can't do much during that time?

Cleave goes through everything, raze just hits one at a time.
Blanknote takes down shields incredibly fast.
They both suck. Void makes me cry.

By "everything," you mean "rebounding, shield, and quicksilver." But nothing else.

Hmm that's quite useful. I'll have to remember to avoid rather than reflect against BM + AL. I just wish avoid didn't drop on movement - that would be rather nice, not critical but nice enough.
Oh and Zacc, against any good bard spam eating earwort is going to cause you a lot of stunnage pain. Also with the earache changes it's a little harder to put the thing straight back up again

Yes. I didn't think that needed to be spelled out.
Also, why are people debating combat with Zacc? The champion who died to just a demesne.

Given his arguments above, I felt it did need to be spelled out.

... not effective until trans? Earwort... 0 lesson investment.
Target eats earwort.
Blanknote.
Minorsecond (if quick enough!).
Target comes out of stun (do they get stun immunity from that??).
Target drinks health, eats sparkleberry, reads healing (or any combination of).
(possible second minorsecond)

Blanknote.
Wash.
Rinse.
Repeat.

Ok.. even I had to laugh here.
Zacc is 100% right, we should do more damage than you can completely heal off on a fast eq skill. Oh but wait.. Minorsixth is here to save the day! I do more with minorsixth than with minorsecond. (Minorsixth is the ego/mana damage skill).
You could also try to get use out of discordantchord, though for me its not as useful as just spamming minorsixth which doesnt cost 13 total power to use (octave 3, powerspikes 2, Dcc 8). If a cantor cant kill someone out of pure damage whatever shall we do!? Oh wait.. they can.
Sorry Zacc I tried to help.. but I am only finding things against you so far. Oh wait... Zacc you just need a magic damage rune thats what it is!
