I dislike Juju and Ubuntu both with great intensity. Juju's unstoppable instakill, Ubuntu's unstoppable 50-damage spike.

Also, I hate how everyone's beating me because they have items and I don't.

They have items because they are choosing "random" decks. Most of them don't really own them.

Helene is pretty annoying in general, I hate shieldstun. Ambrosia is okay but bleeding ritual is pretty sorry IMO. Normally I just whore facekick until I get a stun and then vamp kiss, then if I still have ka spectral choke them as they try to flee.

EDIT: Bali, Juju's effect isn't -that- hard to beat. You need to either switch out or move to range if he's at close with 80-100 ka. Hex isn't too brutal on a character with decent dark resist if you move at range, and if you switch he just whiffed 80 ka, and then you can whack him with yoshiro/ambrosia/something if he tries to flee since all he has left is staff smack and self-heal. Or even intercept.
Ubuntu is another matter though.

Poison is the way to go. Popo is particularly good in this respect. If you can get a feather on him (25% chance to dodge physical attacks), he is hard to kill. Stack as much poison as you can.

Because card awards are completely random? There's a guy with 40 wins who has 2 cards he didn't pick, it really sucks sometimes. I would be like 42-6 or something if I hadn't picked such awful starting cards.

Yeah I somehow picked Zina and Ambrosia on top of Yoshiro and neither impressed me. I did get a Rumiko but no inner scroll to make eviscerate chainable with ninjaport/shuriken (or whatever) so most of my owning people has been on random team, much better than newbie picks.

If I had a choice to start over I'd probably go with something like rumiko, cain, yoshiro or rumiko cain higashi (or anex?)

Also, 34-12...could be worse.

Tafari, Higashi, and Helene for me. If you can trick a full melee into a leafy trap, then act like you're going to cheap them out, switch in Higashi at max range so they have the choice of chi blast or leave, use the chalice for 75 dmg intercept. I've got like a 95% kill rate with that.
