And that's 8 for the eyepatch guy, I believe

Ok, as a note guys, I'm not against discussion of a challenge. When we have info, we definitely need to discuss it through. When we have a detailed challenge with room to talk about the outcome, we need to talk about it.

But when we have something as completely nebulous and wish-washy-could-go-either-way as this, I'll be completely frank. I'm going to argue for the quickest course of action.
Lorick2008-07-17 06:01:20
So, now we need to discuss lynch.
Rika2008-07-17 06:04:24
Bali's posting. In the meantime, I'll vote: Zetsu because he has posted least of the players. Tied at 10 posts with Silferras, though.
Daganev2008-07-17 06:05:12
vote lynch lorick

I don't like that you were willing to sell your vote for 10 gold.

If you were going to vote for him anyway, then his gold is basically the fellowship's gold (assuming he even sides with the fellowship) and if you weren't going to vote for him, then you are just being shady.

You seem to think for your own, but then simply bend to the will of the mob. too easy to be manipulated by warlocks and the like.
Lorick2008-07-17 06:05:24
What, current strategy is to just kill of the inactives?
Daganev2008-07-17 06:06:14
Ok, Rika's my next vote for lynch...
Lorick2008-07-17 06:06:52
It was a challenge that didn't help the fellowship, it was down for speed since he would acquire the role anyways. I would never approve a challenge that help us in some manner, as whole, or lynching, and asking for bribes.
Lorick2008-07-17 06:07:26
IE, if it might matter, don't ask.
Rika2008-07-17 06:07:59
What, you guys are actually going to vote on Zetsu and Silferras with me? I doubt it. It was more a vote of 'just pointing out to post more' than a vote of 'I think you're scum'. They could be scum though.
Lorick2008-07-17 06:08:03
That said, your willingness to throw grenades around without any concern for whom they may hit, is dangerous.
Daganev2008-07-17 06:08:05
I think the chance to buy things from a merchant could have helped the fellowship more than the happy good will of the man with the eyepatch, but we'll see.

I'd like to start us off with Requiem.

The reason? I saw him in the thread the moment Night kicked over into day. While that's very possibly just a coincidence, his roleclaim just didn't sit right with me and I'm still not convinced by it. I also think that he's going to be basically useless to us as well, since he's posting 2-3 horus a day every 24 hours, which is problematic. Unfortunately he's also a risky lynch, because the flips ide of that lack of posting means he's gonna end up hard to read and hard to get a tell on, and we've only got 10 days to win.. 8 now..

What's the general feel about Requiem?

Vote: Requiem dot exe

I have no idea what my bag o tricks do... there is nothing to indicate its a grenade. Its a mechanical ball, its not a solid shell casing with a pin.

I just spent the last hour just catching up, and had about five pages pop up while reading, so.. yeah. Interested to see how this will turn out, but personally I'd have gone with the eyepatch-man too.

I saw you reading and assumed that's what you were up to. I feel bad for people who can't be around as much because this game is absolutely breakneck.
Lorick2008-07-17 06:11:33
Right- I agree we might of got something from the merchant. Reason I didn't ask for money on it. It mattered.

The group decides to side with the man with the eye-patch. They seize the man with the merchant hat, giving the pack back to the man with the eye-patch. He laughs, pointing his rapier threateningly at the man with the strange furry hat.

"Ha ha, justice! How'd ye' like that, ye derty thief?" He asks, his stinky breath noticeable to everyone nearby.

The man with the furry hat grumbles, "Pah...damn you all. I could have gotten away with it too if weren't for these meddling travelers! You can all rot!" And with that, he reaches for the ground and picks up a handful of dirt and throws at everyone scornfully. He quickly runs away, laughing strangely to himself.

Wiping the dirt from his face, the man sighs, "Sorry about that. Ye never know what're gonna happen upons out heres. Hedda prolly sold my goods to you if ye sided with em. Sorry I cant! I gots contracts! Eva since the War people ain't been actin' right. I was a captain in the king's guard, ye know! I been forced to do dis kinda werk becuz there are no more wars to fight now dat the king be dead. Oh wells! I'm in yer debt, travelers. May the gods watch over ye."

And with that, the man with the eye-patch gives a respectful salute and walks off into the forest.

Its still day 2.
Rika2008-07-17 06:12:51
See, never trust a man in a merchant's hat.
Unknown2008-07-17 06:13:11
Well, we made the right decision. I think. Merchant boy was the thief!
